Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical focus, and/or 15+ years of practical experience.
10+ years of experience in application design, development, and implementation
3+ years of hands-on experience leading the design, development, and deployment of business software at scale using Java / Microsoft .Net
At least 3+ years of experience developing cloud-native applications using a Microservices, Serverless, Event Driven architecture
At least 3+ years of Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud (IAM, EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFront, SNS, SQS, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, ElastiCache, Kinesis, Kafka)
2+ years of experience developing and deploying applications in a container environment such as AWS ECS, Red hat Open Shift Container.
Demonstrate a good understanding of container management tools (e.g. Docker, OpenShift), container orchestration (e.g. Kubernetes),
2+ years of experience in RESTful API design and development
2+ years of experience developing with SQL and NoSQL databases
2+ years of experience applying DevOps/DevSecOps principles
2+ years of experience with Java Spring Boot , Angular or React JS
At least 2+ years of experience with Agile, Kanban or Scrum methodologiesfor software development.
Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and/or Behavior-Driven Development (BDD)
Effective written and oral communication skills.

The ideal candidate will bring their experiences, best practices, and a collaborative attitude to help transform vital business needs into code and drive innovation as part of an exciting journey towards Cloud Transformation. We are searching for an advanced coder who enjoys a rapid, dynamic environment. The successful candidate must effectively communicate with our development, security and operations teams to orchestrate the creation of scalable solutions, while responding to ongoing and often changing, customer requirements. The responsibilities include building a process for automation as well as contributing to the development of internal tools to achieve operational efficiency.
As a Senior Cloud Developer, you will lead application development teams to build modern enterprise-scale cloud native applications.
Engage with Cloud Architect and act as the SME to create cloud native application design that can include aspects such ascontainerization, API First, Serverless and Microservices architecture.
Develop and maintain software applications (Java/.Net) in the Cloud (AWS preferred) using Agile software development methodologies.
Support software application migration from an on-premise data center to a cloud environment.
Perform hands on development of cloud agnostic applications that can be deployed in a hybrid multi-cloud environment especially withgovernment cloud deployments (FedRAMP, FISMA, high security environments).
Perform software development tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications.
Collaborate with Scrum Maters, Business Analysts, Developers and Architects to develop and analyze customer requirements.
Delivering end-to-endautomation of deployment, monitoring and infrastructure management in a cloud environment.
Building and configuring delivery environments automating CI/CD pipeline tools across multiple environments using an agile delivery methodology.
Implementing build, deployment and monitoring standards for the client.
Provide stewardship of DevSecOps best practices to increase the quality & velocity of deployments following in iterative process.
Sustain and improve how knowledge is shared throughout the portfolio team.
