Oracle Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) in Topeka, Kansas

Job Description

Oracle Health & AI is building a complete platform for modernized, automated healthcare. You will positively impact millions of consumers across the globe by improving their access to healthcare services and their medical records via the HealtheLife patient portal solution. This role may focus initially on developing a Clipboards solution that enables patients to electronically complete questionnaires required for their medical appointments. This role may also work on developing a Video Visits solution that enables patients to meet with their medical providers virtually.


As a member of the technical team, you will design, install and evaluate quality control methods and systems.

Responsible for designing, implementing and executing software tests in an agile development team throughout the full software development life cycle

Responsible for developing overall test strategies across functional areas

Responsible for maintaining and enhancing test suites across functional areas

Basic qualifications

BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent training or work experience

3-5+ years of software development experience (

Preferred qualifications

Experience with all stages of software testing, including functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing, etc.

Experience with testing tools and frameworks like RSpec, Postman, Playwrite, Gatling, or other unit, performance, load, UI, workflow, and API automated testing tools

Ruby on Rails experience and an understanding of RESTful APIs

React.js, JavaScript, HTML experience

Excellent communication skills

Agile (Scrum, Kanban) experience

Due to the client contract you will be assigned, this position requires you to be a U.S. citizen.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated location(s)

California Pay Range: from $79,400 to $158,900 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Colorado Pay Range: from $75,000 to $143,000 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

New York City Pay Range: from $75,000 to $151,000 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Washington Pay Range: from $83,800 to $151,000 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience and market conditions, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
