As marketing roles across the US Oncology organization are evolving and broadening, this position is designed to be a flexible marketing role that may focus on any aspect of marketing over time based on business needs and/or the capabilities and development needs of the team. The initial focus of the role is outlined below, but the role could include or shift to other aspects of marketing in the future.

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Specialist, U.S. Oncology Marketing – Breast Cancer. This position will be part of the Breast Marketing team and focus on currently approved Triple Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC) indications and will prepare for additional indications within breast cancer. The position will be based in Upper Gwynedd, PA but can operate from anywhere in the US and will report to the Associate Director of Marketing – Breast Cancer.

This position will require outstanding proficiency in many different areas including project management, communication, execution excellence, and cross-functional collaboration.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of marketing resources and programs to support the breadth of breast cancer indications. This may include core HCP non-digital resources, medical education, and non-personal activities. This individual will also represent the team in the product review team (PRT) process including scheduling, prioritization, and discussions.

  • Make operational contributions to assigned area including strategic marketing, brand management, and communications management. This individual will develop tumor-related communications and collaborate with the oncology field execution team for field webcasts and meetings.

  • Contribute to the overall team objectives and key priorities.

  • Work across functional areas within our company, including marketing, field sales, training, compliance, legal, and others to help support team priorities.

  • Knowledge of internal/ external challenges to improve product marketing offerings.

  • Manage the breast cancer’s overall promotional budget across multiple functional areas.

Education Requirement:

  • Required: BA/BS

  • Preferred: MBA

Required Experience and Skills:

  • A minimum of 2 years Pharma/ biotech experience OR a minimum of 3 years combined strategic marketing, brand management, sales or business support experience in any industry, is required.

  • Strong project management skills as demonstrated by prioritizing activities, using resources optimally, establishing appropriate deadlines and ensuring on-time delivery

  • Strong written/ verbal communication skills as demonstrated through experience in strategy & marketing business case communication, sales interface, direct customer engagement and/or sales presentations.

  • Experience influencing without direct authority, navigating complex or matrix organizations and working successfully with cross-functional teams

  • 10-15% travel including some weekends.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • HCP Marketing experience with creating promotional content - bringing materials through legal, regulatory, and clinical review .

  • Experience with communication/marketing to health care providers/consumers/payers.

  • Demonstrated ability to create solutions that drive value for our customers, incorporating innovative approaches where relevant.

  • Veeva PromoMats & SAP experience

  • Oncology experience.
