Summary of Job

This position will be focused on the security of Oracle Advertising’s applications, CI/CD pipelines and application supply chain. Reviewing overall posture and collaborating with the DevOps and Engineering teams on remediation of vulnerabilities.

What You’ll Bring

Let's see what you can achieve when you dare to be yourself. What we are looking for:

  • Practical knowledge of securing applications and services in the cloud

  • Knowledge related to application or product security, the Secure SDLC, automation technologies and securing CI/CD pipelines from end to end

  • Experience writing software automation and coding against REST APIs

  • 3+ years’ experience with at least one programming language ( Python, Java, Golang )

  • Working knowledge of secure coding practices and code scanning technologies


How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Partner with Security Engineering and DevOps teams to increase security posture of the supply chain including 3rd party libs, CI/CD pipelines and software products

  • Collaborate with engineers and leadership to address security risks and provide mitigation recommendations for the Secure Development Lifecycle (SDLC)

  • Design and implement security automation in Go and Python connecting to source code control APIs and others as necessary

  • Perform security architecture and design reviews of applications and CI/CD pipelines as part of our SDLC

  • Validate security controls to ensure consistency with compliance and industry standards

  • Investigate security of products and services uncovering risks. Recommend steps for remediation and verify that they are implemented

  • Present security risks and remediation steps to teams and leadership while balancing them with business requirements

  • Stay up to date with emerging security threats having to do with the SDLC and application security

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the United States only

Hiring Range: from $87,000 to $178,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

  10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
