Oracle's National Security Group (NSG) is looking for an experienced consultant who has a passion for cloud adoption, and can provide consistent, high quality and innovative solution leadership to a project team. This role is an integral part of a project team with diverse skill sets that design and deliver unique solutions that integrate a wide variety of Oracle commercial hardware, software, and cloud into secure, mission critical solutions for government customers. As a member of a project team, you will follow standard practices and procedures to analyze requirements and provide quality work products to deliver functional and technical solutions for applications and technology implementations to meet customer specifications. You are expected to work directly with customers and members of the consulting delivery and sales teams, bringing key qualifications such as:

Required Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship with an active TS/SCI or SCI eligible

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred

  • 3-5+ years of technical experience relevant to this position

  • Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus

  • Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients

  • Ability to travel as needed

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Technical expertise and hands on experience as an architect or software engineer with knowledge applying these skills to cloud, data analytics, cyber security, high performance computing, fault tolerance, or mission critical customer applications.

  • Experience or training with variety of Oracle technologies including the applicability and usage of these technologies by customers. Cloud certifications are important.

  • Passion for technology, the curiosity and willingness to constantly learn new skills, work with new tools and discover new and innovative approaches to solving complex technical challenges.

  • Experience in implementing systems in Oracle Cloud, AWS, Azure, or other Cloud environments.

  • The ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences and, vice versa, translate functional needs to technical solutions

  • Experience with machine learning algorithms for classification, regression, clustering, reinforcement learning, dimensionality reduction with expertise in one or more application domains such as NLP, image processing, time series analysis, etc.

  • Hands on experience in integrating and implementing micro-services. Experience with container runtimes and Kubernetes preferred.

  • Linux or Solaris experience

  • Experience with IaaS/PaaS/SaaS enablement

Experience with any of the following is an added bonus:

  • Experience with horizontally scalable data stores such as Hadoop and other NoSQL/analytic technologies such as MapReduce, Spark, HBase, etc., and associated schemas

Responsibilities

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated location(s)

New York City Pay Range: from $90,600 to $182,400 per annum; eligible for bonus and equity.

Colorado Pay Range: from $90,600 to $172,800 per annum; eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience and market conditions, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

California Pay Range: from $95,900 to $192,000 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Colorado Pay Range: from $90,600 to $172,800 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

New York City Pay Range: from $90,600 to $182,400 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Washington Pay Range: from $101,300 to $182,400 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
