Overview of Position
This Sr Marketing Manager role is focused on supporting the growth agenda for Change Healthcare Marketplace and Digital Health by driving demand and lead creation for the Change Healthcare Marketplace and our growing API, SaaS, and corresponding digital health solution offerings, which will be sold directly (or through the Marketplace) to our Partner ecosystem. This individual will lead a team and partner with various Marketing, BU, technology and Sales stakeholders on the development and execution of a theme-based campaign plan with accountability and responsibility for defined bookings & revenue, MQL, unique customers and ACV closed / won targets and metrics. What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?
Support the development and growth agenda for Change Healthcare’s Marketplace and the Digital Health Solution portfolio by providing strategic marketing and team leadership.
This position will be responsible for the development of a marketing staff as the portfolio and revenue grows. This role will work closely with Marketing Operations, Market Intelligence, Business Unit Leadership, and Sales and Account Management to ensure success.
Generate, cultivate, and expand opportunities for solution development and sales across various Digital Health market segments and partners within the start-up, investor, and incumbent vendor software marketplace.
Establish key partnerships and alliances with other Change Healthcare business units and external organizations to identify and evaluate new go to market channels.
Collaborate cross-functionally in the development of the Enterprise Technology Marketing go-to-market, marketing & business plan, strategy, and goals.
Perform competitive analysis, track industry trends, and maintain extensive knowledge of market conditions to assist in the development of new APIs and bring them to market.
Establish Change Healthcare Developer Experience/Portal as a critical market destination for health tech developers to gain insight, knowledge and practical programming experience with the API portfolio.
Responsible for planning and presenting go-to-market, marketing, awareness, and partner marketing strategies for assigned products and market segments to clients, developers and investors across the healthcare payer, provider, and software vendor market.
Well-rounded marketing experience, with an emphasis on segment and product marketing preferred. Sales experience is a plus.
Understanding of API’s, healthcare marketplace technology & trends and software development community is highly desirable.
What are the requirements needed for this position?
Bachelor’s degree, MBA Preferred but not required
6-8+ years of marketing experience, 2+ years management experience
Previous eCommerce experience with either payor or provider group, health tech and the technology buyer’s journey, and how marketing tactics can be applied at various stages of the marketing pipeline.
Working knowledge of CRM (Salesforce) systems and processes, along with marketing automation tools and systems
Retail category-based marketing
Demand Generation and awareness for complex solutions, preference on Digital Health and technology
Strong interpersonal and communication skills combined with the ability to build relationships across the organization (e.g., product, sales, marketing operations, etc.) and collaborate as necessary to accomplish goals.
Strong teamwork & leadership skills
Experience working with a field sales organization and supporting a dedicated segment and/or product lines.
Highly proficient with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, PowerPoint and Excel
What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?
Exceptional project management skills and ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects and priorities
Experience with Salesforce / other CRM and marketing automation systems
Knowledge of tech specifically and the healthcare information space
Comfort with ambiguity
Ability to work independently while providing updates on project status to supervisor and internal clients.
