Acxiom LLC Senior Financial Analyst in Topeka, Kansas
The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for providing key financial support to Acxiom’s corporate Finance group and key business leaders. This role will be an integral part of a high-performance finance team within the company and will report to the Director of Finance. The candidate will be a valued partner to senior finance leaders on financial planning, analysis, and reporting, as well as partnering with key business leaders to drive growth.
What you will do:
Analyzes financial data, draws conclusions, and presents recommendations to management
Understands the “big picture” view and how it aligns to overall Acxiom strategy
Analyzes and reports on key drivers of business and company performance
Finds opportunities for standardization and automation and drives execution
Builds efficient and effective operating reports
Leads the dissemination of accurate and timely financial reports to managers
Reviews and analyzes monthly reports at operating unit level relative to forecast and budgets
Update, distribute, and consolidate forecast submissions
Update forecast presentations for managers
Creates and tracks key financial metrics
Ad hoc financial modeling and analysis
Develops timely and accurate financial projections
Proactively creates forums to share best practices
Provides useful, material, data-based insights that include implications for business
Builds clear, accurate, repeatable forecast models
Performs scenario analysis to frame business options and make recommendations to management
What you will need:
Minimum 3-5 years of FP&A experience with a Bachelor's degree; or equivalent work experience
Strong analytical skills including an understanding of generally accepted accounting principles
Proven track record to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with excellent communication and time management skills
Strong Excel skills with experience using advanced Excel functions
Ability to derive insights and handle ambiguity or problems where limited data is available

Ability to incorporate deep understanding of technical financial and accounting concepts into analysis
Experience with Workday general ledger; Workday Adaptive Planning (including OfficeConnect)
Motivated self-starter, with ability to remain focused and on task with minimal direction
Can-do attitude towards meeting challenging deadlines with high quality of work and attention to detail
