What you’ll be doing…

The Tableau CSG Transformation and Strategy team (T&S) is a newly built global team with a goal to design and incubate forward-thinking and progressive solutions and teams across CSG. Within the CSG Transformation and Strategy team, we are launching a new team “Strategic Customer Products Partner Engagement (SCPPE)”. The goal of the SCPPE motion is to increase Tableau and Salesforce customer adoption, prevent customer attrition, enable services opportunities, and drive future expansion opportunities.The SCPPE team will reside within T&S and this role will report to the VP, Transformation & Strategy.

This team will be composed of post-sales subject matter professionals who develop deep relationships and provide tailored guidance for our strategic and most valuable customers to accelerate the value of their Tableau and Salesforce investment. This team will galvanize time-bound strategic engagements to assess customer’s problem statement, scope the work and deliver a comprehensive report with pointed assessments and recommendations to help customers implement from end to end. For a successful engagement, this team will work collaboratively with the wider CSG team and work alongside Sales, Product and Engineering.

The Senior Director, SCPPE Team Lead (AMER) on this team will be build and lead a team of elite Architects. You will work closely with the VP of CSG Transformation and Strategy to strategize, incubate andimplemente new SCPPE motions, expand team footprint and program offerings. You will also partner closely with leaders across Services, Success and other CSG teams to amplify expertise across the organization and ensure this team is set up for success. You will help this team build strong internal relationships with Product, Engineering and Sales to influence product direction and voice customer concerns.

Some of the things you’ll be doing include...

  • Recruiting, hiring, building out the team, setting up the right processes and systems and leading this team.

  • Additional responsibilities include day to day management, mentorship, career development and performance management.

  • Partner closely with the CSG Transformation and Strategy team to incubate new insights and offerings to customers.

  • Build positive relationships with the Global Sales Strategy and Sales Planning teams to ensure alignment on delivering targeted engagement to customers based on growth and risk factors.

  • Represent the SCPPE team in both strategic discussions with leaders and operational reviews focused on running and improving the business.

  • Drive a growth mindset culture, hire and develop a diverse team and ensure a long term team enablement strategy.

  • Develop and deploy a framework for customer interactions with comprehensive action plans and playbooks to improve customer experience, increase customer retention and enable account growth.

  • Drive operations, ensure process adherence and supervise team performance for continuous improvement and deliver an outstanding customer experience with relentlessly high standards.

  • Serve as a transformational leader within the CSG organization by synchronizing with Salesforce Core and connecting with industry leaders to bring in standard methodologies and takeaways.

Who you are...

  • Experienced: 15+ years of experience as leader and motivator with deep experience building and leading hard-working teams. Demonstrated success in building a Customer engagement function. Consistent track record of strong organization, operational and analytical skills. Extensive experience defining and implementing strategy for a customer facing team. A deep understanding of value drivers in recurring revenue business models.

  • Influencer and Expert Communicator: A pioneer; someone who will “lead from the front”. Ability to drive effective and influencing conversations with exec leaders. Creative presentation skills and the ability to tell a compelling story. Strong consulting skills and demonstrated results working as a Trusted Advisor to drive business value for customers or partners.

  • Data Rockstar: Strong Tableau or adjacent skills and experience. Analytical, data driven and process oriented mentality.

  • Customer Obsessed. Dedicated focus on delivering an extraordinary customer experience and helping them achieve their business goals.

  • Technically Savvy. Prior experience in enterprise software design, integration and development for large enterprises. Experience dealing with large scale, technologically or functionally complex accounts, which are constantly challenging product capabilities. Knowledge of databases, warehouses, business intelligence systems and data analysis tools.
