Job Description

As a Senior Client Partner within the fast-paced Mid-Market Activation division of Oracle, you will own the end-to-end commercial relationship with a set of Mid-Market, high growth potential accounts. You will work with peer teams and cross-functional departments to help advertisers and agencies understand how best to use Oracle Audience and Contextual Intelligence solutions to tackle their marketing challenges. You will become a trusted advisor to your clients by educating them about Oracle Advertising Activation products, crafting bespoke digital targeting recommendations and ensuring flawless execution and management of campaigns. It is important that you have a passion for learning and have a strong interest in advertising, marketing, and digital media. Contribute to the attainment of Oracle Advertising’s revenue goals by making an impact on the Mid-Market category. Land new partnerships, deepen and broaden existing ones, and focus on growth acceleration and organizational efficiencies while helping Oracle Advertising expand its footprint. You will acquire a deep understanding of our product portfolio and become adept at translating those products to fit customer needs. Join our team!

Responsibilities

  • Own the growth opportunity for a set of mid-market clients across a specific set of verticals.

  • Create new and nurture existing relationships that deepen and expand our engagement with clients via their agencies, advertiser decision makers and channel partners, facilitating product adoption via a consultative, client-success driven approach.

  • Drive top-down partnership strategy and oversee day-to-day client needs and communication.

  • Understand marketer challenges and consult with clients on the ways Oracle Advertising’s suite of usage-based Audience and Contextual Intelligence products can solve their marketing challenges while meeting Oracle Advertising’s revenue goals.

  • Be an expert on Oracle Advertising’s 3PD & Contextual suite to craft strategic recommendations both proactively and in response to client requests.

  • Use internal tools to develop insights, discover ideal data sets for client needs and enable workstreams with cross functional teams.

  • Ensure flawless execution and management of campaigns by partnering with internal peer teams.

  • Break down & translate sophisticated concepts for internal or external partners.

  • Mentor and collaborate with more junior team members, up-leveling strategies across the team.

  • Contribute to team task forces and/or team education opportunities. Consistently up-share and cross-share successful tactics and strategies.

Key Skills & Attributes

  • 6+ years of relevant proven experience

  • 4+ years in client-facing role (sales, client, agency, platform and/or data provider)

  • 1+ year experience with Oracle Advertising related products (formerly known as Datalogix, BlueKai and/or Grapeshot) is preferred

  • Ability to learn and understand the online advertising world (e.g. ad serving, ad exchanges, ad networks) platforms and trends (e.g. desktop, mobile, video)

  • Ability to be sales driven through presentations, demonstrations, and written communication (sales experience calling on client, agency, ad tech or media partners driving revenue growth is a plus)

  • Ability to prioritize is key – focusing on products, relationships and work that most directly fosters growth, while deprioritizing less urgent or relevant opportunities

  • Ideal candidate will operate with both a “hunting” and “nurturing” mindset, be motivated in equal parts by breaking through to new partners and up-selling existing ones

  • Strong interpersonal skills, positivity, and the ability to embrace change and overcome obstacles effectively are critical to success. This includes the ability to effectively collaborate with peers and other teams to create joint wins and growth across all accounts – not just those you own.

  • Executes well on communication skills: analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques

  • Has an effective “edge” – ability to push back when needed and challenge the status quo while deepening internal and external relationships

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the United States only

Hiring Range: from $90,000 to $147,600 per annum. May be eligible for equity. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 70/30 - 80/20.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

  10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
