Guidehouse SAS Business Intelligence Developer in Topeka, Kansas

What You Will Do :

You will support efforts to migrate SAS extract-transform-load (ETL) processes, related analytic business intelligence configurations and databases, and data ingestion and data integrity validation workflows from an on-premises data center to the AWS cloud.

You will support the design, testing, implementation, and maintenance of the ETL processes for delivery of economics research and managerial oversight data.

You execute a lift-and-shift migration of the on-premise SAS processes, refactor SAS processes, as required to enable migration, create and maintain technical documentation, and resolve defects, as needed to migrate and operate the SAS configuration in the AWS cloud.

What You Will Need:

  • Proven ability to Working collaboratively as part of a team that will execute lift-and-shift migration activities including (a) install and configure of SAS software products within the AWS cloud, (b) backup/copy on-premise SAS configurations and restore/install these configurations to the SAS environment running on AWS, (c) back-up the on-premise SQL Server instance(s) and restore of these instances on AWS RDS to enable SAS migration, and (d) test and validate SAS ETLs that are migrated to AWS.

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent post high school education and/or work-related experience in Data Science, Information Systems, Analytics, or other Information Technology related field.

  • Proven ability to design, build, test, and migrate business intelligence and analytic solution using the SAS software suite.

  • Familiarity and ability to deploy SAS solutions on AWS cloud platform.

  • This is a hands-on cloud migration position and requires the ability to proficiently and predictably migrate and test SAS-based analytic solutions on the AWS cloud.

The annual salary range for this position is $76,700.00-$115,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
