Vontier Sales Representative (SaaS) in Topeka, Kansas

We continue to experience explosive growth in our enterprise software solutions and are looking for a talented and competitive Sales Representative that thrives in a quick sales environment. As a key member of our Gasboy Sales Team, this position will drive revenue in our cloud-based enterprise software business, EKOS, the leading fuel and fleet data management solution for commercial and industrial fuel operators in North America.

Reporting to the director of sales, this position will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. You will leverage existing clients and new clients with the goal of converting them to our cloud hosted solution, upselling additional software modules and on occasion presenting online demos. You will collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and various external stakeholders to define, implement, and maintain an effective sales strategy. This role requires you to be able to quickly assess situational needs and overcome barriers to deliver results. You must be comfortable making dozens of calls per day, persuasive to generate interest, qualify sales leads and ultimately close sales opportunities.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Source new and existing sales opportunities thru inbound lead follow up and outbound cold calls and emails

  • Understand customer needs and requirements.

  • Close sales and exceed quarterly/annual targets

  • Capture feedback from customers and identify needs for future promotions or sales content

  • Maintain funnel in Salesforce.com and achieve targeted KPI’s

  • Prospect new leads for inside sales initiatives through focused customer outreach for current and future products, primarily over the phone

  • Perform effective online demos to prospects

  • Communicate regularly with program stakeholders, both internally and externally

  • Ensure successful/on-time completion of milestones, hand-offs

You are a high energy sales professional who thrives in a customer-focused environment and enjoys working as a Team cross functionally. You enjoy taking ownership and driving tasks to resolution. You have a self-starter mentality.

  • 2-4 years progressive experience in inside sales, preferably in a SaaS, tech-oriented, or business-to-consumer environment.

  • Ability to think quickly, articulate solutions as problem solver and counter objections professionally

  • Track record of exceeding quota targets

  • Strong phone presence and experience making dozens of calls per day

  • Proficient with Salesforce.com or similar CRM

  • Proficient with web presentation tools

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong listening and presentation skills

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively

  • Demonstrated experience defining and optimizing complex processes and communicating sophisticated product knowledge

  • Knowledge of digital communication channels (web, social media, etc.) and how they influence sales cycle.
