Safety & Training Analyst I: $49,200 - $61,500
Safety & Training Analyst II: $60,200 - $75,300
Sr Safety & Training Analyst: $68,700 - $90,700
Lead Safety & Training Analyst: $80,300 - $107,100
Scheduled Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. (Other hours as required)
Summary of Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsibility 1 – Manage and oversee safety & training program administration and programs/systems
Administer and maintain all aspects of safety & training programs. Examples could be apprenticeship programs, contractor safety, Ergonomics, etc. Will oversee and own all sites/systems with these projects.
Build relationships with vendors for successful implementation and/ongoing support
Identify and implement process improvements for the function and/or department including finding and implementing efficiencies for tracking and reporting of safety & training activities.
Responsibility 2 – Support Safety & Training Initiatives and Activities
Provide administrative support to the safety & training department.
Handle monthly and quarterly reporting along with special analysis projects as requested.
Ensure management requests are handled timely and accurately and by providing quality administrative support.
Responsibility 3 – Provide Administrative Support to Support Company-Wide Safety & Training Initiatives.
Work collaboratively with the Safety & Training staff and other stakeholders to support company-wide safety and training initiatives.
Generate monthly safety and training statistical reports and post to the Intranet.
Assist in effective communication between department and internal company personnel and external constituents.
May assist in formulation of training plans.
Other Duties and Responsibilities
Provide high-level administrative and analytical support to organizations and groups across the Company and work collaboratively with stakeholders to support company-wide safety and training initiatives.
Accurately and efficiently investigate, research, assemble, prepare and provide information, documents and materials, as requested. Will focus a lot on project work regarding safety & training through the implementation and on-going oversite of safety & training processes, systems and sites.
Work within the Company’s established policies and procedures.
Adhere to OSHA standards and the guidelines of other applicable agencies.
May lead planning efforts for large company-wide events/training sessions and committee meetings.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Five years administrative experience or Associate’s and two years administrative experience or bachelor’s degree (less than 1-year experience). Demonstrated experience working as a team player, exhibiting strong communication skills, customer service and a focus on process improvement is required. Must have good customer service skills and excellent telephone presence and the ability to deal with high stress situations. Demonstrated experience with handling confidential material and interacting with both internal and external customers is highly desired for a candidate to be successful in this role.
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Required:
Requires strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word. Some experience with SharePoint and Articulate Storyline or other on-line training development systems is preferred. Ability and willingness to learn additional software and online systems.
Must possess good written and oral communication skills for report and documentation preparation. Candidate must be very detail oriented and must be able to deal with large volumes of data and maintain a high level of accuracy.
Must possess and display effective organizational skills as well as strong analytical skills, attention to detail, accuracy and creative problem-solving skills.
Must possess and display the ability to make sound decisions with general guidance and minimal supervision. Must be able to work both independently and as a member of a team.
Must be able to deal well with customers, handle multiple priorities, and process information in an accurate, orderly and timely manner. Ability to organize workload, adapt quickly to change, and deliver under the pressure of deadlines.
