Summary:

Facebook's Enterprise Products team is responsible for building user-friendly, scalable, and robust enterprise applications. Facebook is seeking an experienced, insightful and hands-on Release Manager with a strong background in designing and executing processes that power the enterprise operations. As a member of Enterprise Products, you will play a key role in reimagining productivity by scaling the production operations to serve diverse aspects of the enterprise. Enterprise Products Release Management owns the customer experience of our business applications as well as representing the front-line support, deployment processes and program management to ensure operational rigor and stability.

Required Skills:

  1. Provide Product Operations support in documenting, analyzing and reporting on operational metrics

  2. Lead, liaise and manage operational analysis sessions with Product, Engineering, Business and MSP teams

  3. Reporting of key application operational and customer satisfaction metrics, drives insights and optimizes analytics to drive monthly operational reviews & measure results against goals

  4. Develop and maintain well-coordinated internal relationships with key decision makers and the wider Enterprise Engineering organization, evangelize current and new products and enhancements to customers in region

  5. Manage change advisory board review and approval for all application code and configuration deployments, enforcing production deployment processes and guidelines

  6. Ensure accurate and efficient triage and lifecycle management of production tasks

  7. Manage production issues and requests for all product tracks, including system wide issues as Enterprise Products IMOC. Drive continuous improvements with automated testing and QA framework, address configuration, implementation, function and process fails

  8. Communicate period end and application downtime effectively, enabling informed decision making across teams. Identify risks and highlight impact, working directly with relevant parties on all escalations

  9. Own planning and end-to-end execution of programs working with business, Enterprise Products engineering and product teams and keeping everyone abreast of the progress

  10. Program manage cross platform projects around upgrades and maintenance, provide input and support to tracks for process improvement initiatives

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. BS/MS in Computer Science/Software Management and technology discipline

  2. 7+ years of experience working with and supporting enterprise applications

  3. 7+ years of experience with application architecture (Database Tier, Application Tier, Integration)

  4. Experience working with multiple internal and external stakeholders, and within a client or business facing role

  5. Experience writing simple SQL queries, perform data analysis and create dashboards

  6. Experience communicating effectively across all levels and cross functional teams

  7. Experience working autonomously and make critical or time sensitive decisions with minimal guidance and oversight

  8. Experience collaborating cross functionally amongst multiple teams, build relationships and gain trust to effectively deliver operational rigor

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience working with custom built applications

  2. Experience implementing and managing operations of COTS applications (Commercial off-the-Shelf)

  3. Experience in a similar role in a technology/engineering firm

  4. Self-starter with experience working in a fast-paced environment

  5. End-to-end understanding of business processes. (Finance, Supply Chain, Retail and online selling)

  6. Knowledge and experience with SDLC

  7. 7+ years of experience in technical program management, preferably with exposure in financial, supply chain and knowledge management applications support environment
