Position Summary

Under Armour is looking for an innovative, and experienced Quality Assurance Analyst to develop, support, plan, design and execute the test plans, test scripts, and process and plans for various projects across our cross functional business units which represent the mantra, “Business First; Technology Second.” You will join a results-oriented team and participate in the design, implementation, maintenance and support of our modernized data platform to enable the business to make better, more informed decisions. This is a key role in the Data Analytics team and will work closely with Enterprise Data Analysts, Data Platform Engineers, Data Governance Team, within Enterprise Data Management Org. In this role you will help define, develop and implement testing solutions and provide services for the enterprise applications. Some of the Projects you will work on including but not limited to:

  • Migrating and Centralizing Enterprise BI data into a single cloud data platform (Snowflake) to house consumer and enterprise data together while enhancing the user community experience and support the growing demand to meet enterprise reporting, advance analytics , and executive decision-based reporting use cases.

  • Enterprise Top Dashboard: Build out the management reporting layer, identifying and developing the UA Top management dashboards. To transform Under Armour into a more data driven organization, enabling faster and better decision making and reducing the reliance on manual, labor intense reporting

  • Continue to support(SAP HANA/BOBJ Platform) and build the new capabilities (Snowflake/Tableau, Modernized Data Platform) as prioritized through demand intake process to support our business/functional partners.

  • Develop test scripts utilizing comprehensive business requirements FSD's, and processes.

  • Interact with various resources like business/functional end users, Data Analytics Engineering team as well as Ent Data Analyst teams.

  • Implement test scripts, record actual results and identify defects.

  • Help with Change Management process life cycle end to end from change request creation to post validation.

  • Attention to Detail

  • Help Coordinate and support internal audit team for any compliance queries for Enterprise Reporting platform as needed.

  • Responsible for document and content management for Projects and Demands related documents.

  • Create quality measurements metrics to track improvement in products

  • Ensure products meet end used expectations and demand

Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)

  • Solid understanding and thorough knowledge of Service Now, HPQC, and Jira.

  • Experienced working in Agile Project Methodology.

  • Familiarity with HTML, Java, and SQL

  • Familiarity with SAP HANA and BOBJ stack

  • Familiarity with Snowflake, dbt platform.

  • Familiarity with Tableau platform suite.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of tools, concepts, and associated methodologies of QA Experience participating in all aspects of a full-lifecycle development methodology, and related quality concepts and processes.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and committed to meeting deadlines

  • Deep analytical, planning and problem-solving skills are required

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Must be a self-starter, proactive and possess the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Education And / Or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field is preferred.

  • 3+ Years of Quality Assurance, Test, Validation and Change Management experience.

  • Knowledge of business concepts in Retail, Wholesale, Supply Chain, Sales, Finance, Merchandising

  • 3+ Years of experience writing SQL scripts

  • 2+ Years of Experience working on regression and automation test case suit.

  • Sharp attention to detail

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Meticulous and diligent attributes

  • Comfortable with language barriers or constraints; bilingual language skills are a plus

  • Great team player with the ability to work with minimal supervision
