This job was posted by https://www.kansasworks.com : For more information, please see: https://www.kansasworks.com/jobs/12837069 The City of Topekas Housing Services Division is seeking a dedicated individual to work as a Program Coordinator for the Equity Access Shelter (EAS) program. This position works with the Topeka/Shawnee County Continuum of Care (CoC), multiple partnering agencies, and consumers to ensure access to housing services. The incumbent oversees the Coordinated Entry process into the Department of Housing and Urban Developments (HUD) HMIS system and will assist clients in getting on the by name list and obtaining housing services.
What youll do:
Serve as the Coordinated Entry Liaison with the Topeka/Shawnee County CoC, partner agencies, and homeless outreach teams to assist individuals needing housing.
Oversee and provide assistance to the CoC\'s single point of access site.
Provide case management services to individuals that need additional assistance to meet their housing goal.
Track, pull and provide data and other required reports according to HUD requirements.
