Primary Accountabilities:

The Production/Warehousing Technician Manufacturing position is heavily involved in all manufacturing and warehousing activities at Bimini LLC.

Major Duties:

Accurately and effectively operates ingredient blending, extrusion, filling, packing and other production related equipment on a daily basis and as needed.

Performs equipment sanitization and equipment cleaning operations on a daily basis, and facility cleaning operations periodically or as requested by management.

Helps train new employees on all equipment to ensure proper and efficient use.

Operates label applicator and readies the appropriate packaging for filling applications.

Assists in organizing raw materials and packaging in warehouse.

Works with other team members to effectively perform end user fulfillment on behalf of Bimini clients.

Understands and applies HACCP, plant quality, plant GMP, GFSI certification, and food safety requirements to the daily performance of the job and produces high quality products in a safe manner.

Troubleshoots and perform routine maintenance on basic manufacturing equipment components and trains new employees on the same.

Rigorously adheres to Bimini LLCs food safety policies.

Effectively communicates and works with others to achieve goals and initiatives.

Maintains a clean work environment throughout the facility.

Protects Biminis value by keeping information confidential.

Performs other work-related duties as the need arises.

Required Qualifications:

Required

High School Diploma or GED.

Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.

Must be able to accurately type and insert data into required forms.

Ability to demonstrate conflict resolution, problem solving, time management, goal setting, and prioritization.

Successful completion of all pre-employment background check, drug screening and physical capacity assessments.

Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with staff, clients, and the business community.

Ability to accurately read, interpret, and follow the direction of all safety manuals, regulations, GMPs, instructions, and recipes.

Ability to adhere to HACCP principles, GMPs, quality assurance specifications, and approved formulations.

Ability to effectively work in a high pressure, fast-paced environment and be held accountable for results with little supervision.

Ability to multi-task effectively with attention to detail and quality.

Ability to perform basic computer functions.

Ability to think critically and use logic and reasoning to identify alternative solutions, conclusions and approaches to problems.

Preferred

Two (2) year degree or technical degree in a relevant field.

Previous work in manufacturing/technical experience.

Physical Demands:

Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.

Ability to lift up to forty (40) pounds, including above the head and push/pull or carry up to fifty (50) pounds using tote dollies and platform trucks.

Ability to use hands and arms for reaching/handling purposes.

Ability to perform frequent physical activities which require considerable use of arms, legs and moving your whole body such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, squatting, and bending while handling various materials.

Ability to tolerate exposure to food allergens.
