Job Description
The Principal Program Manager (PM) will be responsible for managing complex, cross-organizational technical programs that impact both product and business for OCI. In addition, this specific role requires a passion for solving high-impact problems and the ability to jump into any in-flight project and get it on the rails.
OCI Compute is looking for a technical program manager with a background in cloud services, server technology and software systems who can independently own and drive outcomes across the compute organization for high priority programs with large business impact. The ideal candidate has a background in operating systems, compute architecture, familiarity with virtualization, CPU and GPU systems as well as with managing software and hardware at scale. The ability to think about business problems from the point of view of our customers, analyze and process technical information, put together programs and schedules, to drive progress towards metric driven goals across service teams and communicating up and down the leadership chain accurately is a must. Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product.Our Principal Program Manager (PM) is required to understand the business, devise strategies for programs, identify technical impacts on the organization as they relate to business requirements, drive delivery, unblock execution, effectively communicate project status and suggest changes to use company resources more efficiently, regularly participate in executive meetings to present progress, and share project information with stakeholders. This is a highly visible role, managing programs with visibility up to the SVP level of OCI.
Ideal locations for this position are either Seattle, WA or Austin, TX, and relocation assistance may be available.

Responsibilities
Responsible for understanding business deliverables and independently putting together a program for delivery
Responsible for meeting deliverable deadlines
Define requirements scope, including estimations for deliverables such as requirements and conceptual design tasks and related documentation
Create risk management plans and maintain risk register
Lead regularly scheduled status meeting with stakeholders
Manage communication across organizations and cross-functional teams
Develop PMO deliverables; i.e. SOW’s, Project Charters, Project Timelines
Prepare communication plans and strategies for stakeholder engagement
Plan project deliverables; including hardware, resources, hours
Manage projects from implementation to closure
Drive critical cross-org programs within Compute organization

US: Hiring Range: from $87,800 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
