Our work depends on a Performance Manager joining our team to support NASA activities at NASA Headquarters in Washington DC.

At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Performance Manager supporting NASA, you will be trusted to develop efficient and accurate systems to collect and analyze IT performance data and establish best practices for achieving performance objectives.


  • Develop methods to monitor and measure risk, compliance, and assurance efforts.

  • Perform needs analysis to determine opportunities for new and improved business process solutions.

  • Review or conduct audits of information technology (IT) programs and projects.

  • Gather feedback on customer satisfaction and internal service performance to foster continual improvement.

  • Manage the internal relationship with information technology (IT) process owners supporting the service, assisting with the definition and agreement of Operating Level Agreements (OLAs).

  • Review service performance reports identifying any significant issues and variances, initiating, where necessary, corrective actions and ensuring that all outstanding issues are followed up.

  • Work with other service managers and product owners to balance and prioritize services to meet overall customer requirements, constraints, and objectives.

  • Conduct and present statistical performance analysis with identification and reporting of technical barriers to performance.

  • Recommend solutions for resolving performance barriers.

  • Provide inputs for improving SLAs/Service Delivery Metrics and OLAs, including but not limited to availability of service, return to service, and new service requests metrics. Lead, develop, and inspire teams.

  • Monitor metrics and deliverables to ensure that SLAs and OLAs are being met and are reviewed and updated as applicable.

  • Creating, maintaining, and delivering regular Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and other scorecard/metric reports on OCSS Performance Management as defined by the Government.

  • Leverage NASA tool(s) to store, compute, and report on OCSS’s KPIs, Outcomes and Key Results (OKR), and performance management metrics.

  • Routinely correlate and analyze performance management data to develop recommendations for the Government to improve OCSS’s services and reduce cybersecurity risks.

  • Provide ongoing reporting to OCSS and CSPP management that includes progress achieved, issues, constraints, and risks.

  • Provide training and development to managers and teams on best practices.

  • Lead meetings to cultivate effective working relationships between cross-functional groups for the development of action plans to address performance management issues.

  • Perform quality control activities on deliverables to ensure they are compliant with contractual requirements and company standards.


  • Bachelor’s Degree with 2+ years of relevant experience

  • Direct Performance Management experience

  • The selected applicant will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. An existing clearance or Public Trust is preferred.
