Manage people for product development programs or projects focused on the delivery of a product through the design process, and into a finished state for external customers.
Manage people for product development programs or projects involving department or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of a product or computer-based system through the design process, and into a finished state for external customers. Plan and direct resource schedules as well as project budgets. Monitor the product/program/project from initiation through delivery, interfacing with customer on technical matters. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the product/program/project on schedule and within budget constraints. Assign and monitor work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction. Select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
Assists in the development of short, medium, and long term plans to achieve strategic objectives. Regularly interacts across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure unit objectives are met. Ability to influence thinking or gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations is important. Demonstrated leadership and people management skills. Strong communication skills, analytical skills, thorough understanding of product development and product management. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area preferred. Prefer seven years of project management, product design or related experience.

Provide thought leadership for managing the transformation to cloud technologies and communicate cloud feature adoption through strategic roadmaps.
Manage the partnership with OCI that includes technology and architecture collaboration, requirement setting, and support for engineering teams.
Manage the NS-OCI Program and team to achieve the below objectives:
Work with NSGBU architects and tech managers to develop and promote the adoption of large-scale cloud services, architecture, and standards.
Work with project managers and engineers to support cloud services onboarding projects throughout the project life cycle.
Support the GXP program with on-time OCI capacity to achieve its business objectives.
Provide support services and a training program to product development teams to aid their consumption of cloud services and ensure adherence to best practices and standards.
Create and continuously improve new and streamlined management processes based on the new practices and patterns needed for cloud-based services delivery.
Assists development groups in the accelerated adoption of cloud technologies and associated CI/CD tools and methodologies.
Work with finance partners to establish and meet OCI budget requirements.
Qualifications and Skills:
3+ years of experience in leading/managing enterprise-level IT or cloud projects.
3+ years of industrial experience in technical subjects in cloud computing or related technical fields.
2+ years of experience in Advanced Technologies or Cloud-based Technology program or project management.
Experience working with engineering teams and management to promote and manage advanced technology development.
Performs many concurrent projects in a dynamic work environment with varying assignments and priorities
Provides internal customer support and interaction using hands-on support and excellent oral and written communication skills to communicate technical subjects.
Strong technical background in CS, Engineering, or Mathematics, with previous experience as a high-performing individual contributor.
Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree in Business Management preferred.
