Anaplan Mid-Enterprise Account Executive in Topeka, Kansas

Anaplan is hiring an upbeat, persistent, Mid-Enterprise Account Executive with a hunter approach, who is collaborative and driven, and has a passion to win big! In this role, you will take experience and sell an extraordinarily versatile platform. Our sales team is helping industry leaders understand the impact of Anaplan products and how our connected planning solution is ending siloed decision-making. You will help our customers achieve their immediate business goals while setting their businesses up for the future.

This role will be a pivotal contributor to Anaplan’s continued growth while leading digital transformation. Reporting directly to the Regional Vice President (RVP). As an Account Executive, you will be part of a core account team for our Commercial segment with up to 200+ greenfield accounts in a defined geographic territory. The primary objective is to uncover, qualify, and close opportunities within your assigned region.

Your Impact

  • Outbound prospecting into Anaplan’s Mid Enterprise Segment to engage with prospects and customers and articulate the value of Anaplan in meeting their business goals

  • Proven success in converting enterprise prospects to customers (e.g. “land” an account)

  • Research, question, and listen to our customers to fully understand their needs and present solutions to fulfill their requirements

  • Drive sales cycles and associated partner support ecosystem to improve our customer’s investment with Anaplan

  • Develop and accelerate strong business relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within your accounts

  • Work collaboratively with an ecosystem of implementation partners to qualify, understand business drivers, demonstrate business outcome-focused solutions, and close software contract value to meet quota

  • Provide accurate and timely revenue forecasting and CRM updates

  • Generate balanced pipeline leading to overachieving sales quota & targets

Your Qualifications

  • 3+ years SaaS solutions sales experience (field / inside sales, sales development, pipeline generation)

  • Experience calling into accounts and establishing relationships with business decision-makers

  • Ability to understand a 10K, 10Q/annual reports and translate key points into an Anaplan solution for your accounts

  • Proven, consistent record to close over the phone

  • Ability to engage your customer in a conversation that allows you to uncover and translate business pains and challenges into a value proposition that Anaplan can deliver

Business, Finance, Economics, related BS/BA degree or relevant years of experience

Preferred Skills

  • Analytical knowledge of SFDC, Altify, Marketo, and Engagio

  • Account Planning experience –Altify, MEDPICC, Miller Heiman
