Job Description/Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a healthcare information technology subject matter expert on projects involving IT function effectiveness mapping organizational strategic goals to IT imperatives

  • Lead the day-to-day activities of IT effectiveness engagements for provider clients including peer benchmarking, spend analysis and related recommendations on opportunities, overall IT organization structure and operating model review, and identification of automation opportunities

  • Support business development activities such as identification, proposal development, and other pursuit activities at healthcare clients

  • Mentor junior level team members and provide performance management for staff working on assigned engagements

  • Meet/exceed established utilization goals


Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of healthcare IT effectiveness assessment experience including peer benchmarking, spend analysis and related recommendations on opportunities, overall IT organization structure and operating model review, and identification of automation opportunities

  • Cross-functional knowledge of business systems (i.e. ERP), clinical systems (EMR, ancillaries), and IT infrastructure

  • Bachelor's degree in MIS, Accounting, Business, Computer Science or a related field from an accredited college/university

  • Ability to formulate and express ideas clearly and effectively in verbal and written presentations

  • Strong client services orientation and accustomed to taking an active role in executing projects

  • Excellent team building, mentoring, and leadership abilities

  • Travel may be up to 80-100%

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP Certification

  • This position is open to candidate virtually from EST, CST, PST time zone as well as AZ, UT.
