This manager-level position is responsible for a segment within a given practice focused on a specific industry, product/service line or specialty area. Responsible for managing the three main pillars of a practice: people management, portfolio/delivery management and sales enablement. Has profit and loss responsibility or financial/expense management of practice.

This position is responsible for managing multiple teams in providing quality analysis, studies, product innovations on external customer engagement to achieve operational and functional targets with significant contribution towards the achievement of immediate and short-term results for the team, department and Oracle. Understands business metrics/key performance indicators required for team to deliver the results. Establish and communicate team or department goals that support and advance team, department and organization objectives; establish metrics or other performance measures to track progress.Influence diverse stakeholder groups and drive acceptance of policies, practices and procedures within broader area of responsibility. Identify, propose and lead team- and department-level quality and process improvement initiatives; lead or influence strategic initiatives at the department-level and provide input on strategic initiatives for the organization

Knowledge of product or expertise relevant to area of focus is required with 6+ years of relevant experience. Preferred Qualifications: Degree in respective clinical expertise (Nursing, Pharmacy, Clinical Studies, Informatics, Health Care or related field)Certification required based on area of focus: Registered Nurse - State Board, Pharmacist - State Board, Licensed Medical Doctor - State Board, Licensed Doctor of Osteopathy - State Board, Certified Exercise Physiologist - State Board. Depending on the job there may be additional minimum requirements and/or preferred qualifications.

Responsibilities

As a Patient Safety Lead Healthcare Executive, you will work under the direction of the Patient Safety Executive supporting the VISN and local strategic and operational patient safety programs in support of the Federal client. The Patient Safety Lead Healthcare Executive VISN SME in coordination with the client, will align methodologies to measure, evaluate and improve patient safety across the enterprise, in partnership with clinical and patient safety leadership teams across multiple organizations both internal and externally.

You will be accountable for highly complex, multi-site client patient safety programs as well as working with client for mitigation and resolution strategies for risks proactively. You will lead cross-functional collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to execute client and methodology vision, objectives, and strategy. You will develop and maintain a coordinated approach to safety programs, assisting the client in the management of adverse events with analysis, intervention, identification of systemic issues, and widespread communications of key learnings. Develop longitudinal relationships with key client executives and drive discussions concerning strategy, structure, management and operations to support enterprise-wide leadership, and safety/quality teams to ensure that organizational wide safety and quality goals and objectives and risk reduction strategies are implemented effectively wherever appropriate while engaging stakeholders in the process.

This individual develops, directs, and facilitates organizational-wide care transformation activities and programs (clinical, operational and service line) aimed to improve patient care, create an extraordinary patient and caregiver experience, and enhance and strengthen the culture of safety and quality within the system.

Your role will require directing a team of associates responsible for delivering value to the client and support the execution of cross-functional collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to continuously improve patient safety.

Basic Qualifications:

  • At least 10 years of total combined higher education and related work experience, including:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a licensed health care practice, clinical consulting and/or other clinical healthcare information technology (HCIT) work experience

  • At least 8 years of higher education and/or additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job

  • Master’s Degree in Nursing, Clinical Studies, Health Care Administration, Business Administration, or Public Health

  • Receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for your position

  • Due to the client contract you will be assigned, this position requires you to be a U.S citizen

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of Patient Safety/Risk management health care experience

  • At least 5 years of Project management or health care information technology (HCIT) consulting work experience

Expectations :

  • Active registration or license in a clinical discipline and has not been censured or forced to relinquish license due to impropriety

  • Eligible for licensure to practice in their field or comparable global training

  • Willing to travel up to 80% as needed

  • Must reside in Kansas City, MO, or a virtually approved location

  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations

  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position

  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated location(s)

New York City Pay Range: from $142,400 to $256,500 per annum; eligible for bonus, equity, and may be eligble for compensation deferral.

Colorado Pay Range: from $127,400 to $243,000 per annum; eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience and market conditions, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
