The Role

The Lead eCommerce Web Business Analyst, under limited supervision, is responsible for executing strategy and solutions for achieving ecommerce sales goals by building, enhancing, and maintaining our strategic web pages across centurylink.com a Lumen company. This includes presentation of targeted content/offers, A/B testing, launching pricing and online promotions, and measuring & reporting on site performance. Driving digital adoption amongst our users and customer base is key to our success.

The Main Responsibilities

  • Build, manage and optimize key web pages to help achieve unit and revenue goals for ecommerce team.

  • Drive positive customer experiences, increased continuation rates and optimizing site performance.

  • In coordination with product and marketing teams, determine the appropriate products, services, prices based on the customer, customer segment, region, or any other segmentation.

  • Write technical business requirements with functional design instructions for development team and perform user acceptance testing across browsers and devices.

  • Ensure that overall design complies with sitewide customer experience vision.

  • Set up and manage A/B testing campaigns to optimize site performance.

  • Review, interpret and improve site performance based on analytics (preferably Google Analytics).

  • Readout on site performance during ecommerce team calls.

  • Conduct online competitive analysis and review of industry benchmarks to leverage best practices in design of ecommerce sales tactics and account management functions.

What We Look For in a Candidate


  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, IT or equivalent education and related experience.

  • 8+ years' experience successfully managing eCommerce sites.

  • Passion for improving user experiences, driving innovation, and using data to drive decision making

  • Experience working with internal business partners and outside consultants.

  • Experience delivering solutions using agile methodologies and processes.

  • Experienced in setting up, managing and analyzing strategic A/B testing campaigns.

  • Strong analytical skills, detail oriented.

  • Strong team player with an ability to interact with stakeholders from various parts of the business.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred :

  • Demonstrated experience with ecommerce content management system – SalesForce, Adobe Experience Manager, or others.

  • Experience using and managing A/B testing platform – Google Optimize, SiteSpect, Optimizely, or others

  • Experience with agile project management tools such as JIRA or Confluence
