Oracle Lead Clinical Consultant in Topeka, Kansas

Job Description

Responsible for driving the client through the design of clinical and business processes, solution and technology workflow, and successful adoption that will lead to achieved value. Manage ongoing relationships with clients, providing account management and clinical subject matter expertise focusing on client success in utilizing Oracle's solutions. Through the use of Oracle's implementation approach and methodology, the Consultant will assist in change management, help identify opportunities for improvement, and is accountable for achieving the project’s targeted outcomes.

An experienced professional who is a domain and process expert with a deep understanding of research, clinical practices and solutions. Partner with Oracle client Clinical leadership to form longitudinal relationships and holistically impact client performance and satisfaction through optimization activities and strategic initiatives during client project engagements. Collaborate with development teams to design and position innovative solutions in the marketplace. Leads solution design for existing and prospective external customer engagements. Identifies areas for new solution offerings. Analyzes external customer needs and exercises judgment and business acumen in selecting methods and techniques to design non-routine and complex solutions to help ensure Oracle solution meets the customer’s objectives by combining industry best practices and product/process knowledge. Influences external customer leadership in acceptance of Oracle solutions and services to facilitate the closing of deals. Leads the domain specific solution design aspects of engagement(s) ensuring high quality and integrated solutions. Supports the business development efforts by pursuing new opportunities and extensions. May perform other duties as assigned.

Bachelors or Advanced degree in a discipline relevant to area of focus, plus 8 year related work experience. Minimum Qualifications: At least 10+ years of total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including: At least 1 year of licensed health care practice, clinical consulting and/or other clinical healthcare information technology (HCIT) work experience Degree in respective clinical expertise (Nursing, Pharmacy, Clinical Studies, Informatics, Health Care or related fieldCertification required based on area of focus: Registered Nurse - State Board, Nursing Informatics Nursing Certification - American Nursing Credentialing Center (ANCC), Licensed Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O)-State Board. Licensed Medical Doctor - State Board, Pharmacist - State Board, Certified Exercise Physiologist - State Board, Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist - State BoardWork in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position. Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations. Depending on the job there may be additional minimum requirements and/or preferred qualifications

Responsibilities

As a Lead Clinical Consultant, you will guide internal and external project teams through workflow and clinical design recommendations in complex client environments. You will leverage continuous process improvement techniques to promote improvements in quality of care and patient safety. You will act as the final point of escalation for clinical workflow integration risks and issues. In this role, you will partner with engagement management team to influence project strategy and drive outcomes. Lastly, you will drive organizational and internal team initiatives.

Basic Qualifications

  • At least 10 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:

  • At least 3 years licensed health care practice, clinical consulting and/or other clinical healthcare information technology (HCIT) work experience

  • At least 7 years additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education, including:

  • Bachelor's degree in Clinical Studies, Health Care, Nursing, or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience

  • Registered Nurse - State Board

  • Applicants for U.S.-based positions with Oracle Cerner must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire

  • Due to specific client contract requirements, this position requires that the successful candidate be a U.S. citizen. The client contract also requires receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for the position

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree or equivalent relevant work experience

  • Hospital administration experience

  • Experience leading large, complex implementations

  • Project Management experience

Expectations

  • Eligible for licensure to practice in their field or comparable global training

  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned

  • Willing to travel up to 80% as needed

  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated location(s)

New York City Pay Range: from $113,400 to $204,200 per annum; eligible for bonus and equity.

Colorado Pay Range: from $101,400 to $193,400 per annum; eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience and market conditions, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
