Exciting opportunity to be part of the Labcorp 2022 Global Internship Program as a Pharmacometrics Intern !

As a Labcorp intern, you will have the opportunity to support meaningful assignments that compliment an education in STEM+ Business and Healthcare disciplines, and are inspiring and valuable in our mission to improve health and improve lives across the globe. About the Team :

  • The Global Pharmacometrics team provides a range of modeling & simulation services for clients including both nonclinical and clinical. Examples (not all-inclusive) include: PK/PD, PBPK, DDI, popPK, etc.

Internship Assignment Summary:

  • Investigate implementation of PBPK modeling for incorporation into PKPD models for large molecule (antibodies, proteins, oligonucleotides, etc.)

  • Generate PBPK and drug-drug interaction (DDI) models using GastroPlus® (or other suitable) software

  • Attend training sessions to learn modeling software and tools

  • Engage in professional development workshops to enhance your business acumen and professional presence

Education/Qualifications:

  • Working towards master's, or PhD degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Toxicology, Pharmcokinetics, Pharmacometrics, or related field; other scientific disciplines may be considered; practical understanding of Drug Metabolism desired

Experience:

  • Has experience delivering multiple projects in an academic or professional setting

  • Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders and internal/external colleagues

  • Embraces diverse ways of thinking through various forms collaboration and partnership
