Oracle Interface Architect in Topeka, Kansas

Job Description

Intermediate consulting position operating independently with some assistance and guidance to provide quality work products to a project team or customer that comply with Oracle methodologies and practices. Performs standard duties and tasks with some variation to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer specifications.

Standard assignments are accomplished without assistance by exercising independent judgment, within defined policies and processes, to deliver functional and technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements.

2-5 years of overall experience in relevant functional or technical roles. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

As an Interface Architect here at Oracle Cerner , you will plan and oversee interface installation at client sites. You will also lead Oracle Cerner interface installation projects, provide tier 3 troubleshooting and issue resolution and mentor and support associates in daily tasks and troubleshooting. Furthermore, you will manage changes and project activities and communicate with impacted associates or clients, code custom interfaces and monitor interface project progress to assess and manage project risk and ensure quality assurance. Lastly, you will design interfaces to align to project scope, drive interface testing strategies with solution teams and lead interface design and specification review sessions with clients.

Basic Qualifications

  • At least 6 years of total combined related work experience and completed higher education including:

  • At least 1 year of system engineering and/or system architecture work experience

  • At least 5 years of additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education including:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Software Engineering

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree

Expectations

  • Willing to travel up to 40% as needed

  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations

  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position

  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated location(s)

New York City Pay Range: from $31.59 to $61.88 per hour; from $65,700 to $128,700 per annum; eligible for bonus and equity.

Colorado Pay Range: from $31.59 to $58.61 per hour; from $65,700 to $121,900 per annum; eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience and market conditions, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
