Pearson Implementation Management Assistant, Temporary in Topeka, Kansas

Implementation Management Assistant

This remote temporary position will support a small team in completing daily tasks to support the delivery of online assessments. The ideal candidate will be a master multi-tasker with excellent communication skills and an upbeat attitude. Tasks that will be assigned include data conversion and validation; applying configuration changes to support customer needs; documenting new processes to support the daily work of the team; and other miscellaneous tasks as assigned. No travel is required. This position will begin immediately. The candidate will work remotely from a home office.


  • Data Accuracy and Analysis – Conversion files are generated from legacy systems for import into a target environment. Responsible for review and accuracy of client data and data load to ensure accuracy is maintained for current clients.

  • Perform the extract, load, and validation of converted data from systems as necessary

  • Coordinates and directs the completion of post-conversion maintenance potentially including error resolution, system, or data changes

  • Troubleshoot data conversion errors and correct client information that cannot be converted using existing tools.

  • Be scrappy: test assumptions, learn the work and be willing to step in when necessary to ensure deliverables and timelines are met

  • Effectively handle multiple priorities to meet all objectives and deadlines

  • Other responsibilities as assigned


  • High school diploma/GED required

  • Associate degree or higher preferred

  • Proficiency with technology, specifically Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel

  • Excellent verbal communication, written communication, and organizational skills

  • Ability to verify data for accuracy and completeness

  • Multi-task with efficiency

  • Able to work with minimum supervision responding to changing priorities and role needs

  • A detail-oriented problem-solving approach to business and technical issues

  • Strong analytical skills with ability to work collaboratively and individually to find the best possible solutions
