The housekeeping position is responsible for a variety of housekeeping duties. These duties are necessary for providing the resident population and the facility with a clean and sanitary environment. The employer reserves the right to modify and add to your job duties. Management may ask you to perform other duties that are outside of your normal descriptions. The person filling this position can expect to provide the following services: Job Functions Fulfills the expectation of using the Hospitality Experience Behaviors as common practice. Provides quality customer service to residents by providing one on one attention to the detail. Attend monthly meetings and training sessions as scheduled. Perform all tasks in accordance with Morrison Management Services Values and Mission statement Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans. Dust and damp mop floors following procedures as assigned. Move equipment and furniture for proper cleaning and place furniture back in correct placement. Clean all assigned areas with the use of assigned materials and equipment. Sanitize all surfaces. Follow the ten step cleaning procedure. Wash walls, windows, furniture, baseboards and other items needed to maintain a clean safe environment for our residents, visitors and staff. Completes all discharge room cleaning in a timely manner to allow for new resident admissions to the sub-acute unit on campus. Provides superior customer service to sub-acute resident population, including positive daily interaction with residents during their time at the community. Participates in nursing unit meetings as directed by the Environmental Services Supervisor. Seek out areas that require cleaning and take initiative to complete the task. Complete all tasks assigned by your supervisor. Perform task in accordance with all federal, state and county guidelines.
