TTEC Google Cloud Platform Data Architect in Topeka, Kansas

By evaluating customer interactions, we provide operational insight into employee performance and engagement, allowing us to optimize our business processes continuously. We are looking for a Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Data Architect to assist our efforts in architecting the transformation and modernization of our enterprise data solution into GCP. A strong understanding and experience in solutioning data lakes, data warehouses, and data analytics in GCP is a must for this position.

Core responsibilities for the GCP Data Architect include the following:

  • Design, Outline, and Implement an Enterprise level data environment within GCP using Google Cloud Storage and BigQuery

  • Design ETL strategies for moving data into GCS and BigQuery

  • Review, Research, and Test out analytic solutions using the latest technologies

  • Design, Review, and Implement security and encryption policies around data access and data sensitivity

  • Provide technical support and direction to small teams of engineers

  • Review current architecture and direction to understand pain points and propose solutions

  • Work with the implementation team and operational support team as the subject matter expert within BigQuery, GSC, and Data Catalog to provide direction and answer questions on speed, optimization, and security within GCP

Skills required

  • Experience with Data Warehouse, Data Lake, and ETL/ELT design and implementation

  • Data migration experience from legacy systems into GCP

  • Minimum 3 years designing and implementing data integrations into and out of GCP via batch processing and data pipelines

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent 10 years work experience

  • Minimum 3 years working in big data solutions with experience in BigQuery, Spark, Hive Data Proc, Cloud Storage, and Cloud Functions

Preferred Skills

  • GCP Certifications

  • Experience implementing ETL solutions using Talend

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

The anticipated starting salary range for individuals expressing interest in this position is $94,000 - $160,000 annually. This position is eligible to participate in an annual incentive program. Actual compensation offers to a candidate may vary based upon geographic location, work experience, education and/or skill levels.
