Who We Are Looking For
An experienced product leader with a track record for building new products from initial concept to successful delivery to take on the role of Global Professional Services Product Manager as part of the Global Practice and Competency (GPC) Operating Model. In this role, you will play a critical part in helping drive the future of talent strategy as Salesforce launches multiple products to support the skill growth and career development of its global Professional Services teams.
Own the product vision: Ensure that it aligns with the overall GPC vision. Be an expert on the domain, the practices, the expertise. Evangelize the vision constantly so all stakeholders are aligned, have context, and understand where we are going.
Represent the GPC. Be the champion and voice of the field. Build impactful relationships. Bring the field’s voice into the creation process. Own requirements, specifications, and release plans.
Drive entire feature delivery lifecycle: research field/user needs; write feature specs and user stories; partner with User Experience to design and prototype; work with engineering to develop, test and deliver an impactful product on time; collaborate with internal business partners to drive awareness, usage and adoption
Collaborate across teams: We win or lose as a team. Product managers play a critical role in creating alignment between engineering teams and stakeholders and fostering confidence from executives sponsors. A collaborative attitude is essential to the job
Communicate clearly and efficiently: Manage product release communications. Define expectations for engineering teams and hold them accountable to success and failures. Work closely with GPC leads and internal business partners to promote your products and ensure a compelling and consistent message.
10+ years of solid product management experience with a proven track record of building well-loved products from concept to delivery and 3+ years in the Salesforce ecosystem
Organized. Demonstrated experience in gathering and transforming product requirements into an actionable product roadmap
Influential & Understanding. Strong collaboration, influence, and negotiation skills to align the organization around prioritization and delivery of product roadmap
Inspiring. Well-developed leadership, management, and strategic-thinking skills, with the ability to excite and lead others.
A Strong Communicator. Top notch written and oral communication skills, including experience presenting to executive leadership, evangelizing product strategy, and managing competing priorities
Adaptable. Able to adjust on the fly to new demands with a sense of urgency and ability to prioritize
Resourceful. Proactive problem-solver; able to stay one step ahead
Impactful. A consistent track record of converting ideas to impact
Diplomatic. Skillful in collaboration to ensure solid working relationships across matrixed teams
Educated. Earned a Bachelor’s Degree
Familiarity with talent strategy or human resources is a plus
For Colorado-based roles: Minimum annual salary of $81,000 You may also be entitled to receive a bonus, restricted stock units, and benefits.
