Vontier Director, Communications in Topeka, Kansas

Vontier is looking for an experienced communications leader to join our team responsible for corporate, executive, employee, and brand communications. In this role, you will report to the Vice President, Communications and Brand, and own the development of communications and brand efforts through internal and external multi-channel campaign strategies supporting key initiatives.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Create strategic, high-impact messaging aligned to our vision, strategy and culture across a variety of channels and audiences.

  • Partner across key stakeholders to support development of our corporate narrative along with supporting programs, with an emphasis on reaching technology talent markets.

  • Partner closely with HR, IT, Legal, Investor Relations, and other clients to develop messaging and communication plans to advance strategic business priorities.

  • Leverage existing Vontier internal and external communication and social media channels and champion new channels to cascade messaging to appropriate audiences.

  • Collaborate with the VP of Communications & Brand to produce communications in partnership with key stakeholders.

  • Manage communications, collaborate on content development, and oversee production and execution of Vontier events and experiences.

  • Monitor, measure, and adjust as needed to ensure impact of communications programs and initiatives.

  • Stay up to date on the changing digital landscape to ensure optimal strategy across existing channels, as well as recommending new platforms.

WHO YOU ARE

  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience leading communications or a related field.

  • Experience building communications plans and executing against them with measurable results.

  • Superior communication skills, both written and verbal, that communicate clear, effective messages.

  • Ability to identify and collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and execute communications strategies.

  • Ability to strategically synthesize information into a compelling message for internal/external, global and diverse audiences.

  • Able to handle highly confidential information with sensitivity, integrity, and good judgment.

  • Takes initiative and delivers results with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree.
