The Data Acquisition Leader is a new role for the fast-growing Data Solutions organization. Data Solutions exists to create value for healthcare constituents through innovative new uses of data & analytics. The successful candidate will be a vital contributor to our strategy & growth plans.

What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?

  • Serves as the principal strategist for the strategic acquisition and utilization of data assets for the Data Solutions BU.

  • Monitors industry trends and develops plans to incorporate new data models and technology offerings to produce value for customers. Must analyze complex privacy and security regulations, policies and other offerings and develop strategies. Creates new approaches to solve these problems.

  • Drives architecture & design for the business unit, provides comprehensive guidance and alignment with market and technology evolution.

  • Solution Architecture – Develops solution architectures for new and existing products; drives solution-area engineers to ensure designs are being implemented properly at the business unit level.

  • Subject Matter Expertise, Advisory – Serves as a deep subject matter expert in all aspects of data architecture and data integration. Integrates with legal, business, and technical processes to enable innovation in the data space.

  • Unlocks innovation opportunities with customers by advising on best practices and design patterns.

What are the requirements needed for this position?

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Healthcare Data/Analytics .

  • 5+ years of experience identifying, assessing & sourcing contracts within Healthcare Data & Analytics field (highly desire professionals within the areas of: Specialty Data, Lab, CMS and Social Determinants) .

  • 3+ years of experience successfully negotiating healthcare data-related contracts Excellent business acumen, critical thinking, executive presence, and verbal and written communications skills .

  • Ability to generalize product requirements from multiple custom solutions.

What are the working conditions and physical requirements of this job?

General office demands, remote work environment.

How much should I expect to travel?

Less than 10% travel involved.

Employees in roles that require travel will need to be able to qualify for a company credit card or be able to use their own personal credit card for travel expenses and submit for reimbursement.
