Responsible for the prompt, courteous, accurate, and timely handling of incoming telephone calls, emails, and written correspondence from professional providers covering all lines of business regarding their recredentialing application required for URAC accreditation. Serve as a resource for Professional Relations Staff, Provider Records, Institutional Relations, Customer Service, and provider offices regarding questions related to credentialing. Responsible for reviewing credentialing application against mandatory URAC elements to ensure accuracy and completeness prior to forwarding application for final review.


+ High school graduate or equivalent required with additional education in communications, human relations, medical terminology, and business letter writing preferred.

+ Strong computer skills to operate effectively with company systems and programs.

+ Proficient in the use of WORD and EXCEL preferred. A working knowledge of additional Microsoft Office Products helpful.

+ Proficient in using Email, Internet, Intranet, PES, Crystal, IPS, BluECM, CACTUS, and CAQH following training.

+ Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with providers including physicians, staff from provider offices, facilities and all levels of internal staff required.

+ Required to have a working understanding of URAC auditing process and requirements as it relates to job functions following training.

+ Good customer service skills, organizational skills, communication skills and the ability to work independently are necessary.

+ Good human relation skills, positive attitude and be flexible to change required.

+ Must be able to maintain confidentiality.

+ Ability to work independently and well under pressure to meet strict deadlines while maintaining a high degree of accuracy.

+ Visual Acuity and manual dexterity sufficient to type 50 wpm strongly preferred and to perform complete data entry rapidly and accurately using a personal computer.

+ Record low number of unscheduled absences. ?
