Responsibilities
This position is in PCG’s Human Services practice area on the Aging & Disability Services (A&D) team. The A&D team works with states and providers to design, develop, refine, evaluate, and manage programs that support older adults and people with disabilities. Our mission is to help our clients improve the lives of the people they serve. The A&D team is seeking to add a skilled, team-oriented Communications Manager – Design and Video that will help us fulfill this mission.
The Communications Manager – Design and Video will plan and produce well-designed and meaningful content across a variety of media. This will include working across PCG’s functional project teams and with client staff and stakeholders to implement effective, results-driven content—including graphics, visual concepts, videos, layouts, and web content to suit each client’s needs. This position requires creative thinking as well as a keen technical eye for creating and producing communications and marketing content. Experience with government agencies and/or health and human services organizations is preferred but not essential.
Specific Responsibilities:
Develop innovative and compelling visuals for a wide range of marketing materials such as marketing collateral, social media, website graphics, toolkits and presentations
Utilize design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and other relevant tools to create, edit, and manipulate graphics and images and to produce other media
Develop materials to guide the communications process for a specific project or initiative
Contribute to the creation of plan documents and strategies to meet the needs of specific audiences
Plan and develop video/video series with a level of presentation to meet objectives most effectively
Produce video scripts and ideas by working with subject matter experts
Direct the production of a variety of materials (video, audio, voice-over)
Write, produce, direct and edit videos that enhance client deliverables
Develop video animation for training presentations, webinars, social media, explainer series, and more
Evaluate and recommend hardware and software support for multi-media production
Study and recommend solutions to problems affecting multi-media production such as budgeting, cost-effectiveness, equipment, and deadlines
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining a high level of quality in deliverables
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Skills:
Experience with video creation and video editing software such as Final Cut Pro, iMovie, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, etc.
Experience creating graphics using Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.
Strong creative, strategic, and organizational skills
Creativity and an eye for aesthetics, visual storytelling, and ability to produce captivating designs
Excellent writing and editing skills (creative copy)
Willingness to adapt to new design trends, tools, and technologies
Capacity to identify design challenges and proactively develop creative solutions
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Ability to work both in a team situation and autonomously
Ability to work with colleagues and clients in virtual videoconferencing settings, including Microsoft Teams, Zoom, etc.
Required Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience
3-5 years of relevant work experience
Knowledge of or experience with health and human services organizations and/or government agencies (preferred)
Applicants from across the US will be considered. Regular work duties are completed virtually/remote but may require infrequent travel to PCG and client sites.

Compensation
Compensation for roles at Public Consulting Group varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by applicable law, PCG provides the following reasonable range of compensation for this role: $70,000 - $85,000 . In addition, PCG provides a range of benefits for this role.
