Overview of Job Function:

The Cloud Security & Compliance Design Principal is responsible for helping provide customers, prospects, and account teams with the necessary information, resources, and context needed for prospects/customers to make risk assessment decisions about Verint Cloud adoption. This role will be responsible for speaking authoritatively to cloud security and compliance during the sales cycles with customer business, IT, and Information Security staff so that Verint’s position is clearly communicated allow prospects and customers to make security and compliance risk assessments. The individual will also train and mentor other technical team members within the Solution Sales organization domestically and abroad.

Principal Duties and Essential Responsibilities:

  • Authoritatively speak to relevant standards such as PCI, HIPAA, GDPR, and others.

  • Coach customers on security and compliance options that satisfy customer need.

  • Mentor internal Presales staff on Cloud security best practices as laid out by Verint InfoSec and the CISO.

  • Work closely with InfoSec and the CISO to adopt new developments and standards into customer-facing material and presentations.

  • Facilitate well-planned deep dive discussions with prospects and customers by pulling in appropriate InfoSec and CISO team members from Verint.

  • Maintain a thorough on-going knowledge of Verint products and technology, Cloud solutions, security practices, and industry trends.

  • Participate actively in the sales process where appropriate: partner with the appropriate people within the company to identify, expand, and help close deals.

  • Coach sales team to uncover customer needs, develop champions, present specific use cases, demonstrate the differentiated value of Verint and negotiate favorable pricing and terms by selling value and ROI.

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, technologies, partners, and competitors; develop proactive strategies to maintain a competitive edge.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Technology or equivalent work experience.

  • Minimum of 8 years related experience in selling and positioning technology products and software solutions in a high touch, consultative selling environment; with a proven track record of success.

  • Experience as technical subject matter expert for one or more telephony or contact-center technologies.

  • Experience coaching, building rapport, and building trust with less technical team members.

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level.

  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs.

  • Ability to discuss, understand, and work within complex projects and processes.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail.

  • Strong ability to collaborate and influence effectively across a matrixed organization.

  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

  • Ability to self-direct with minimal supervision.

  • Travel expectations are 10% or less.

  • Successful completion of a background screening process including, but not limited to, employment verifications, criminal search, OFAC, SS Verification, as well as credit and drug screening, where applicable and in accordance with federal and local regulations

  • The ability to obtain the necessary credit line required to travel.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Relevant security certifications such as CEH, CISM, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CISA, etc.

  • Prior sales experience and account penetration of a global scope
