An experienced consulting professional who has a broad understanding of solutions, industry best practices, multiple business processes or technology designs within a product/technology family. Operates independently to provide quality work products to an engagement. Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment, in order to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs. Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices.

Reporting to the Consulting Delivery Director, the successful candidate will have experience in designing and implementing integration architecture required for a mid-size to large scale projects. Should have the ability to be responsible for all technical aspects of the Oracle Middleware software tool and implementations for both cloud and on-premise projects. The software tools include Oracle SOA Suite, BPEL, OSB and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) . The Cloud Architect develops the Integration architecture for the systems and is responsible for implementing the overall Integration design of the applications.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Design and develop Integration solutions on both Cloud and On-premise platforms which can include Oracle and non-Oracle applications.

  • Good understanding and working knowledge of Oracle fusion middleware products. Able to install, configure and develop components using Oracle middleware products.

  • Work with client’s business teams to capture requirements and build integration solutions accordingly.

  • Be an onsite technical lead and co-ordinate with offshore team to accomplish activities when needed.

  • Identify potential risks, problem areas and develop procedures that provide effective workarounds to the problem at hand.

  • Develop detailed specifications including integration diagrams, application configuration and requirements

  • Produce Integration and Technical Architecture Documents to include Integration Requirements, Technical Models, Platform, Performance and Security.

Responsibilities

Operates independently to provide quality work products to an engagement. Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment, in order to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs. Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices. Demonstrates expertise to deliver functional and technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements. May lead the solution design and implementation aspects of engagement(s) ensuring high quality, integrated software solutions within constraints of time and budget. May act as the team lead on projects, providing coaching, guidance and feedback to develop skills of team members. Effectively consults with management of customer organizations. Participates in business development activities. Develops and leads detailed solutions for moderately complex projects.

Qualifications

  • Experience working on large-scale IT implementations involving Middleware integration components.

  • Hands on experience with Oracle SOA Suite 12C, OSB, BPEL, and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or similar integration platforms such as MuleSoft, TIBCO, etc.

  • Experience in developing applications on different cloud platforms (SaaS / PaaS / IaaS).

  • SOAP and/or REST web services.

  • Experience in XSTL, XQuery, XML, SoapUI

  • Knowledge/experience in Core Java, J2EE

  • RDBMS/SQL

  • Strong Unix skills and experience with UNIX like operating systems such as RH Linux, Oracle Linux etc.

  • Hands on experience using Oracle WebLogic server with the ability to install, configure and performance tune.

  • ODI skills highly desired

  • Must have excellent analytical, problem solving, communication and presentation skills

  • Knowledge of Oracle Utilities applications like CC&B, MWM, and MDM etc. is preferred.

  • Ability to travel up to 50% for client assignments to any destination is a key requirement of the role. May have to do M-TH travel sometimes but sometimes travel is more or less depending on client/customer needs

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated location(s)

California Pay Range: from $95,900 to $192,000 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Colorado Pay Range: from $90,600 to $172,800 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

New York City Pay Range: from $90,600 to $182,400 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Washington Pay Range: from $101,300 to $182,400 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience and market conditions, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
