What You’ll Be Doing (Position Summary)

Evolent Health is looking for an Associate Director Jr Domain Technical Lead, Provider Data Management/Implementation to join our growing Health Services team. Reporting to the Director or Lead, Provider Data Management/Implementation, this individual will play a critical role in executing Evolent Health’s mission. This individual will be responsible for maintaining quality of data received from partner companies and vendors, received as part of each assigned initiative. The candidate will work closely with both internal and external parties on all aspects of provider data for business integrations and partner company implementations.

The individual will be supporting provider data management activities relative to requirements and business rule definitions, use case creation, analysis, quality assurance planning, partner company and vendor support, and continuous improvement of data collection, mapping, analysis, transformation. possess a solid mix of technical and analytic skills necessary for the development of core processes and management of provider data. The Associate Director will work with both internal and external business partners to implement ongoing operational monitoring, perform gap analyses of critical provider data sets, and document business and technical requirements for partner company lines of business.

The ideal candidate must work well in a cross-functional and matrixed organization and be able to be both responsive to needs and thoughtful and directive in supporting and implementing the organization’s Product capabilities. They will partner closely with Provider Data Management, IT and Network functions to ensure objectives and deliverables are met.

Collaborate to direct implementations of PDM strategies and work to leverage the latest technologies to support high quality and efficient operations Identify PDM operations business requirements in response to client and internal opportunities; work with internal departments the to ensure those requirements are mapped to technical solutions where appropriate Facilitate the provider data gap analysis process for new clients Lead client interface for implementation of provider data operations and data updates Evaluate provider related data gathered from multiple sources, reconciling conflicts while incorporating data into provider data management solution Define standard data quality checks at appropriate stages to ensure all data meets requirements for operations, analytics and reporting Document client specific data mapping needs, transformation rules, and any business rules related intelligence Standardize provider data management procedures such as documentation for departmental operating procedures. Identify opportunities to continuously improve the data discovery and onboarding process Partner to understand and define needs around data analytics and reporting. Assist with quality assurance planning to ensure all provider data requirements are satisfied Act as subject matter expert for provider data Execute strategy and road map for provider data management system Monitor and report performance in delivery of requirements analysis activities Perform other duties and projects, as assigned

The Experience You’ll Need (Required/Preferred):

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or related field, preferred

  • Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in collection, analysis, and presentation of data and recommendations to management

  • Experience working within a health plan, managed care organization, provider operated healthcare environment or Third-Party Administrator (TPA) and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO)

  • Diverse knowledge of client implementation strategies, project plans, delivery of required assignments and risk mitigation activities, in a highly matrixed environment over the length of a full-service lifecycle with a high degree of client satisfaction

  • Extensive knowledge of computers and related software applications, with advanced expertise with programs such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, Access

  • Three (3) to five (5) years data analysis and business intelligence experience working with Business Intelligence suites such as Qlikview, SSRS, Power BI, Tableau or other enterprise class tools, preferred

  • Experience with US healthcare system, including Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, Exchange and commercial plans

  • Exceptional active listening and communications skills

  • Demonstrated competency in process development, process improvement (Lean and Six Sigma), project management, and requirements development and documentation

  • Experience in systems and languages related to database lifecycle management such as Microsoft Access, Python, SQL Server, Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), etc., preferred

Technical Requirements:

As such, we require that all employees have the following technical capability at their home: High speed internet over 10 MBPS and, specifically for all call center employees, the ability to plug in directly to the home internet router. These at-home technical requirements are subject to change with any scheduled re-opening of our office locations.

The typical range of employees within the compensation grade of this position is . Salaries are determined by the skill set required for the position and commensurate with experience and may vary above and below the stated amounts.
