What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Manage triaging of EDI related inquiries for enrollment, claims, provider payment, and member payment interfaces

  • Serve as top tier production support subject matter expert

  • Manage team of onshore and offshore Production Support Analysts

  • Train and develop junior resources and enhance their EDI expertise

  • Lead development and monitoring of service level agreement compliance for production support ticket system

  • Lead development and monitoring of productivity monitoring tools

  • Initiate process improvements to alleviate frequent production support issues and inefficient processes

  • Monitor health of EDI data interfaces using a variety of technologies

  • Drive solutions for high impact production support issues and communicate with clients and senior leadership on root cause and resolution plans

  • Manage EDI mapping, provides support to all EDI production processes and testing of EDI data loaded in test production instance, and ongoing maintenance.

  • Develop detailed standard operating procedure documentation and instruct operational teams on their implementation

The Experience You’ll Need (Required):

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare management, computer science or similar technology/business field of study

  • 3 plus years of experience working within a production support team

  • 2 plus years of experience managing employees

  • Knowledge of healthcare industry and healthcare x12 format (especially 837 and 834)

  • Extensive experience with 835s and provider payment processes preferred, but not required

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively within a team

  • Ability to work with customers and internal staff in fast-paced environment

  • Ability to work in a team environment across multiple functional groups

  • SQL, relational database design, and solution analysis experience preferred but not required

Technical requirements:

Currently, Evolent employees work remotely across all fifty (50) states temporarily due to COVID-19. As such, we require that all employees have the following technical capability at their home: High speed internet over 10 MBPS and, specifically for all call center employees, the ability to plug in directly to the home internet router. These at-home technical requirements are subject to change with any scheduled re-opening of our office locations.

The typical range of employees within the compensation grade of this position is . Salaries are determined by the skill set required for the position and commensurate with experience and may vary above and below the stated amounts.
