The Universal Online Banking (UOB) Technical team provides direct support of our UOB application, a web interface for commercial banking activities. They identify, triage and remediate complex issues to ensure business impacts are mitigated. This team also partners with other technical teams committed to the development and evolution of UMB technical processes, monitoring systems and automation.
As an Application Support Specialist, you will be a point of contact to resolve any potential incidents. You will coordinate the resolution with application teams, vendors, and various business units. In addition, you will be monitoring the system to ensure its performance. How you’ll spend your time:
Providing technical application support of our UOB application and associated services.
Working on incident tickets, monitoring systems performance, and assisting/applying fixes and upgrades.
Troubleshooting and triage any incidents or problems on production applications.
Working closely with application teams, vendors and various business units to come up with a solution to remediate issues.
We’re excited to talk with you if:
You have at least 3 years of experience in a technical role supporting IT infrastructure and/or applications. Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related discipline is preferred.
You have knowledge with Unixscripting and/or experience with Java technologies. Although this is not required, this will be highly beneficial.
You have ability to field incoming incident tickets to identify and resolve application and software issues within a high-pressure environment.Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing system is highly preferred.
You have a proactive focus utilizing the available system monitoring tools.
You have strong experience with Microsoft Office suite.
You are a logical thinker with strong analytical skills and/or experience performing and coordinating Root Cause Analysis and trend analysis.

The pay range for a candidate selected for this position who is based in Colorado is typically $60,795 to $112,875 annually. The selected candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, including but not limited to work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay for the selected candidate may be above or below this range. The successful candidate will also be eligible to participate in one or more incentive plans based on company and individual performance.
