Maintenance Coordinator

Onsite​​​​​​ - Day Shift

As a Maintenance Coordinator at our new Animal Nutrition and Health Tonganoxie, KS location, you will be responsible for purchasing, ordering parts (e.g. , PM’s, breakdowns, repairs, rebuilding, etc.) to optimize plant equipment and support the production of finished products. You will also perform specialized predictive and preventive maintenance equipment inspections; trouble shoots, plans, installs and/or modifies plant equipment and related systems in accordance with Key Performance measure, Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety / regulatory requirements, and divisional goals.

Responsibilities:

• Communicate directly with service providers, vendors and maintenance contractors to schedule repairs, servicing and preventative maintenance.

• Identify improvement opportunities and provide input regarding scheduling/review/analysis of do segment of the Manufex work process.

• Conduct a variety of maintenance activities (e.g., preventative/corrective to optimize plant equipment).

• Perform specialized predictive and preventative equipment inspections.

• Troubleshoot plans and install and/or modify plant equipment with related systems.

• Contribute to overall planning/scheduling Electrical/Instrumentation and Machinist/Pipefitting crafts.

• Cross-train in multiple skill areas, training others. Track, review, assist maintenance to support department KPIs, focusing on all crafts. Track, review, assist in the department KPIs with focus on review, analysis of do segment of Manufex work process. Review and plan job, order parts and provide general assistance to maintenance.

  You Bring:

• High School diploma or equivalent. Certification from a technical school a plus.

• A minimum of 6 years of skilled Mechanical / Electrical maintenance, PMs, spare parts, and related/equivalent.

• Familiarity with writing SOP’s.

• Familiarity with Automation and/or Robotics.

• Detailed knowledge of applicable SHE & Manufacturing requirements and an understanding of Equipment Reliability and Maintenance.

• Good math, oral/written communication skills and social skills.

• Good time management, statistical process control and trouble shooting skills.

• Ability to prioritize and follow through on completion of project(s).
