We are a smaller family oriented business that considers our drivers to be part of our Bestmark family.
Our Fleet consist of 32 trucks and 50 -55 reefer trailers.• We are looking for drivers to be out a 10 - 14 days at a time and you will receive 3 -4 days home depending on your needs. We do ask for 7 days in advance for any home time that is requested, that is just common courtesy and gives us a chance to have our ducks in arow. If additional home time is needed and we have been in clear communication within a timly manner to make accommodations substitutable for both the driver and theequipment.• We are looking for drivers with a clean MVR and a work history with a minimum of two years’ experience and history that shows that they like to work and that they are loyal to the company that they do work for.• We run the lower half of the states. Draw a line starting in Kansas to Florida over to California and back to Kansas. We run anything in that area outlined. Our main run is Florida as we are in and out of Florida daily. We have runs out of the Topeka –Kansas City area that run back into Oklahoma, Texas, and Colorado. We do run California dependingon the truck you are placed in will depend on if you run California or not.• Equipment : All of our trucks are Kenworth and most are set at 68 MPH. Speeds of the truck can be adjusted after a review is completed if the driver request. Speed adjustments if requested will be based off of performance and safety. And will not be considered without having 30days of clean driving.TRUCKS:Kenworth W900's - 18 SpeedsKenworth T600's - 18 SpeedsKenworth T660's - AutomaticsKenworth T680's - 18 SpeedsWe are trying the automatics in our new T680's.• Pay Per Mile:Our drivers right now are starting at 58 cents per mile. 18 cents of that is per diem. You also receive $20.00 dollars for first additional stop and $40.00 for any stops after the first additional. Our driver average around 3000 miles per week.• Detention Pay:We also offer detention pay, $20.00 dollars an hour after the first two hours and up to eight hours. Tops out at $160.00. To qualify for detention pay you must arrive prior to your appointment time, send both your arrival call and your check call via Qualcomm as well as send message in a door or dock; or not in a door or dock two hours after your appointment time. Those must be sent via Qualcomm as well. You must also notify dispatch at the two-hour mark so that we can notify the shipper that we will be requesting detention.• Pay Increase:Drivers are offered ½ cents per mile on their year anniversary date. This is offered to drivers that have had no accidents, incidents or claims in the previous 12 months.• Bonus:Drivers that are with the company will receive bonuses at their 5-year mark as well as their 10-year mark. You will receive an additional 0.01 cent per mile at 5 years and again at 10 years on top of any other raise that would be coming including the ½ cent per mile for each year.• Sign on Bonus:We offer a sign on BONUS of $750.00 after the completion of six months of employment. That six months is your probation period, during that time you cannot have any accidents, incidents, or claims. If you do have any accidents, incidents or claims during the probation period, you will not receive your sign on bonus.• Holiday Pay:We do offer holiday pay for the following five holidays: New Years, Memorial Day, and The 4th of July. Thanksgiving and Christmas. Standard holiday pay is $200.00 per holiday, you only receive holiday pay for the holidays that you choose to work.
• Detention Pay:$20.00 an hour after the first two hour and up to 8 hours. Top out at $160.00• Layover Pay:$75.00 dollars if available for dispatch and have not received it after 24 hours of being available for dispatch.• New Hire Bonus Up To $2600.00. You will receive $200.00 dollars per month for up to 13 months.• Total Income:Driver's are making over $90,000+/year with the pay discussed above and we have some driver's that make up to $100,000 depending on safety and over all performance.• Vacation Pay:We also offer vacation pay for our drivers. Vacation pay is based off the previous 52 weeks of work. The average of your previous 52 weeks will be paid to you after your 52 week mark. Vacation pay is only paid out to drivers that have had no accidents, incidents or claims in the previous 52 weeks.• Health CareWe also offer a benefits package for health care coverage for those drivers that complete 60 days of employment with our company. Benefits will be offered from Blue Cross Blue Shield. With additional coverage through Aflac• 401KWe also offer 401K and the company will match up to 4% of the employee's contribution. The first 3% is matched at 100% by the company The 4th or 5th % are match at 1/2% rate by the company• Bringing Another Driver:$2600.00 Dollar Bonus paid monthly at $200.00 Dollars a month for 13 months as long as the recruited driver is still employed with Bestm
