Senior level position requiring extensive experience in CDC response work

Program: NCIRD Preparedness Readiness and this individual will lead these activities in coordination with stakeholders in support of CDC organization- PPCU/OGHPR. Stakeholders are a diverse group across both the center and the agency. The individual is leading tasks but is not expected to manage performance reviews.

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinates and synchronize preparedness objectives, tasks, and readiness activities across client center and agency

  • Lead activities and tasks in coordination with stakeholders in support of CDC organization- PPCU/OGHPR.

  • Primary focus is successful outcomes for CDC response efforts; extensive CDC response experience is a requirement. Secondary focus is supporting operational plans under the CDC All-Hazards Plan to include the future Respiratory Disease Appendix.

Required qualifications

  • Master's and 8+ years related experience

  • Must be U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) clearance

  • Extensive experience in CDC response work

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail
