About the Job: Our Sales and Design Representatives assist retail customers and contractors with the planning, design, selection, and purchase of their cabinetry projects.
You must be an effective networker and have excellent selling and closing skills. You must be able to work with a wide range of personality types and enjoy varied responsibilities. Our ideal candidate is a hard-working, self-starter willing to work independently and be held accountable to meet agreed-upon goals. We look for people who are detail-oriented, have high integrity, and are polished and professional.
Specific Job Tasks:
Work with customers/contractors to create designs, plans, quotes, and orders
Accurately check design layouts and orders
Manage the complete cycle of quoting to the ordering process
Sell additional products such as countertops, tile, hardware, appliances, etc.
Sell, order, schedule, and manage each project thoroughly
Maintain accurate paperwork for quotes, invoices, template drawings, and all other documents
Build relationships with customers, contractors, and vendors
Job Qualifications:
Associate or Bachelor\'s Degree (Interior Design or Interior Architecture preferred)
Prior experience in sales, design, woodworking, or related industries highly recommended
AutoCAD, 20-20, other design programs, and hand drafting experience are very beneficial
Computer experience with Microsoft Office is necessary
Strong interpersonal skills
Job Requirements:
Travel up to a 150-mile radius of Salina, KS, daily
Valid driver\'s license
Pass MVR check
Work flexible hours, including some weekends and evenings
Job Benefits:
Compensation up to \$50,000 with commissions on sales exceeding set goals. Compensation is based on proven experience.
