We are hiring a Plant Director at the largest pizza plant in the world and home to our famous Red Baron and Tony’s brand frozen pizzas. This critical leadership role, together with the Sr Dir of Manufacturing, is responsible for managing all aspects of a large scale, highly automated food manufacturing facility and all aspects of the business in regards to safety, quality, service, cost, productivity, and people.

Responsible for the manufacturing of safe quality foods that meet all regulatory agencies and our customers while reducing product variability and foreign material to achieve the business goals
Implements, plans, and schedules aligned with strategies to improve working conditions to achieve the appropriate volume of production ensuring product meets established targeted return on assets employed and contribution to sales and profits
Defines and directs the administration plant or facility policies within the framework and intent of the company's manufacturing charter
Develops and approves short- or long-term operating objectives in areas such as cost reduction, quality, and new product integration as undertaken at the plant level
Oversees development of and implementation of capital plans related to production improvement, repair, maintenance, and expansion
Establishes and maintains favorable plant/facility company and community relationships through active participation in community affairs
Directs the maintenance of a safe and healthy working environment by eliminating hazards training employees and promoting safety awareness
Manages and/or provides appropriate support for functions such as accounting/finance, human resources, information technology
Responsible for all aspects of the business and manufacturing within the facility and is the key decision maker
Hires, directs, trains, and develops employees
What we need from you:
Years of Experience: 10-12 years related experience in manufacturing environment
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
The desire to make a meaningful difference. Must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently. We need someone who competes to win!
Authentic leader: direct communicator, able to build strong relationships across the company, with all levels
Must have great collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively work closely with cross-functional teams
Good PC skills including Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.
Solid technical knowledge of manufacturing operations
Must have strong financial understand of manufacturing and display skills in people development
Strategic skill set needed; able to develop strong teams; change agent a must; understands lean and six sigma basics and has been trained and experience in this type of environment
