This position will continuously provide manufacturing, programming and engineering with support to increase efficiency, improve quality, increase capacity, rectify safety concerns and improve working conditions. It is critical that this team member personify the below values to be an effective ambassador to the rest of the company.

Major Skills, Aptitudes & Responsibilities:

Assist with process studies for process improvement

Assist with ROI analysis for procedural changes, tooling and equipment acquisitions

Conduct minimally complicated FEA on designs prior to final release

Assist in improving manufacturing processes in collaboration with department managers, production managers, Engineering and Quality

Collaborate effectively with various departments throughout the company

3D modeling and design of custom engineered solutions to assist manufacturing

Hands on building and assembling of various projects prior to final delivery to end user

Other duties as assigned by department manager

Requirements

Experience with manufacturing processes.

Able to read and create 2D layouts and 3D models using CAD software.

Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Able to enter and maintain data via spreadsheets.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety procedures, manufacturing prints, operation and maintenance instructions.

Ability to write clear, concise reports and correspondence.

Ability to speak effectively before groups of stakeholders within the organization.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.

Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Ability to understand and apply statistical calculations.

This hourly position requires working fixed days Monday through Thursday with fixed hours of 6:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m. Schedule deviation must be approved by the Manager. This job may require overtime.
