Vortex career opportunities on Night Shift:

Laser Operators - Spectrum Metalcraft location (304 E. Avenue B, Salina, KS)

Prep & Paint Technicians - Spectrum Metalcraft location (304 E. Avenue B, Salina, KS)

Machining Technician - Vortex Global location (1725 Vortex Avenue, Salina, KS)

Requirements

2nd Shift positions are scheduled Monday-Thursday from 4:30 p.m. to 3:30 a.m. (Overtime possible if deemed necessary.)

Prep & Paint Technicians:

High School diploma required.

Technical training and or work experience painting parts preferred.

This candidate will prepping parts before painting by blowing off dust, washing, hanging, and more.

Laser Operators:

High School diploma required.

Technical training and or work experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Must be able to read blueprints, be familiar with a computer keyboard, and be capable of reading engineering drawings.

This candidate will be working with CNC Programmers to improve product performance and fabrication time and will help meet productivity standards, and other duties as assigned.

Press Brake Operators:

High school diploma required.

Technical training and or work experience in manufacturing preferred.

Must be capable of reading blueprints, and interpret computer programs sent to the Press Brake.

This candidate will bend parts to meet engineering specifications, assist in production shop house keeping duties and in production equipment maintenance

This position\'s schedule is M-THR from 12:00pm to 10:00pm (Overtime possible if deemed necessary.)
