As a SCRUM Master supporting CMS, you will be a team-level change agent who facilitates and follows agile practices in a diverse and technically complex cloud services delivery program. A practical understanding of agile and DevOps principles, frameworks, tools and concepts will be key in successfully performing in this role.

  • Lead and work closely with multiple scrum teams in all aspects of the committed work (analysis, development, testing, documentation, etc.)

  • Understands the priorities and aids with the resolution of blocking challenges

  • Assist with internal and external communications, improving transparency

  • Follows agile values, principles, and practices while delivering work products

  • Utilize tools, such as JIRA and Confluence, to facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint iteration planning, backlog grooming, daily stand ups, sprint retrospectives, and status reporting

  • Identify requirement ambiguities and issues; work with the team to problem-solve or escalate to management if needed

  • Utilize tools and reports, such as JIRA and Confluence, to collect, develop and analyze Agile data and metrics

  • Utilize data from retrospectives and other agile metrics to recommend continuous improvements

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

  • 3+ years’ experience as a Scrum Master within a software development team

  • Agile certification such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)

  • 2+ years of experience with software DevOps pipeline processes and tools

  • 1+ years of experience with support tools, such as JIRA, Confluence, Remedy, ServiceNow, and HP ALM

Desired Education and Experience

  • CMS or health care industry experience

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to communicate technical topics to management

  • Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to integrate information from multiple sources

  • Ability to work independently and interact regularly with government and non-government stakeholders and with the internal teams

  • Work effectively and efficiently in high-stress and time-sensitive situations
