GDIT is seeking a Senior Procurement Analyst to join the Supply Chain Management team. This position will be responsible for sourcing and negotiating strategic procurements that are aligned with enterprise strategies and objectives.
*This position can be done fully remotely, currently AND once COVID restrictions are lifted.*
Task and responsibilities in this role include, but are not limited to the following:
Purchasing products and services for both internal and government customers, focusing on cloud-based and SaaS (Software as a Service) offerings.
Sourcing execution in compliance with the various regulatory requirements imposed upon GDIT Supply Chain by its customers, including the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and leverage the market strength of GDIT, recognize market conditions, and strive to maximize value obtained from each procurement action.
Leading complex RFx sourcing engagements, to include: collaborating with internal stakeholders and leadership, writing proposal sourcing documents, facilitating supplier communications and presentations, and negotiating final award and terms.
Negotiating supplier agreements with a focus on data privacy and security, by identifying and mitigating critical business risks.
Producing detailed analyses, and independently researching, compiling, and assessing business and financial data.
Ensuring high internal customer satisfaction.
Supporting the implementation of process improvements and streamlined procedures whenever possible.
To qualify, you must meet these qualifications:
Bachelor's degree plus five years related experience, or nine years experience in lieu of the degree; or MA plus three years related experience;
Knowledge of federal, state and local statutes, laws, rules, and regulations related to governmental purchasing programs, competitive bidding processes, and procurement management;
Experience negotiating Cloud and SaaS procurements and agreements, with a focus on risk mitigation, cost savings, and value-add;
Ability to make sound decisions and recommendations, and present findings to management and Supply Chain leadership;
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, often managing multiple projects at a time;
Detail-oriented individual who works quickly, efficiently, and can be described as a "self-starter" with limited oversight needed;
Experience gaining efficiencies through process improvement and automation
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Oracle, Workday, Sharepoint applications
