What You Will Get To Do:
Develop policies and procedures based on industry best practices, necessary to carry out day to day server operations and ensure business continuity for both internal and client based servers.
Provide project implementation oversight to ensure that standards for quality and quantity of work are met.
Plan and execute (when necessary) server changes / outages with knowledge of change management.
Participate in the development of IT Strategies in collaboration with direct management team
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
Occasional Travel to US-Based office may be required – 1 to 2 times per year for up to 5 days
What You Will Bring:
Windows Server 2008 Operating System up to present day WS2019/2022
PowerShell Scripting / Command Line
Basic Knowledge of Group Policy Management
Understanding of DFS / File Server Management
Understanding how to troubleshoot server communication failures / error
Management of Servers in a “Cloud” Environment (Private cloud, Azure)
Server Monitoring, performance tuning and optimization of servers (on-premises)
Knowledge of Package Deployment technologies (SCCM, LANSweeper, LANDesk)
Knowledge of patching processes (WSUS, SCCM)
Knowledge of Salt and Salt state management
Bonus Experience:
Managerial Experience in a Global Environment
Knowledge of VMWare a plus
Knowledge of SOC2 / ISO requirements a plus
Certifications
