Kansas Employer Agricultural Equipment Operator in Plains, Kansas
This job was posted by https://www.kansasworks.com : For more information, please see: https://www.kansasworks.com/jobs/12787981 Employees will operate all kinds of farm equipment to assist with all aspect of planting, raising, harvesting, and hauling of crops. Job duties include but are not limited to operating equipment to plant corn, soybeans, wheat, milo and cotton, spray crops/fields (Insecticides, Herbicides, Fungicides), and operate equipment to harvest crops (combines, grain carts, farm semi-trucks, cotton strippers). Employees will need to assist with pivot irrigation systems including installing, repairing and maintenance. Employees will be required to do routine repairs and maintenance on equipment. Operate mowers to mow around pivots, ditches and fields where needed. May be required to assist with swathing, mowing, raking and baling hay when applicable. Per state regulations, employer is exempt from a commercial CDL requirement for farm trucking. No commercial or heavy truck driving is required. Employer may provide performance bonuses at the end of the contract at the employers discretion. Employer may provide pay increases for performance, longevity and/or experience at employers discretion.
